🌿We enjoyed a magical family session today. The trees seemed to hold space for us to play, chat and spend time together. It’s always lovely in these sessions to see how the older children support the younger ones in their play. We’ll be back on 29 August - hopefully see you then! 💚🌿🐸

🌿We’ll be running a couple of family sessions during the summer holidays.

- Friday 8 August, 1.30-3pm
- Friday 29 August, 1.30-3pm

🌿All ages welcome.
🌿£5 per family with one child, £10 per family with two or more children.

🌿We were so grateful for the shade and cooler temperatures that the woods provided this afternoon. We chilled on the blankets with cool water and a treasure basket to explore along with our book and teddy baskets. Then we decided to go for a stroll to find more natural treasures. Some discoveries were too big to fit in our basket! So some sticks were added to the fire circle and others put in the den. We also noticed a bumblebee and speckled wood butterflies! Thank you for joining us! 💚🌿🐸

🧸🌿🧸We enjoyed a teady bears’ picnic yesterday in the woods with singing and parachute games. What fun we had!🧸🌿🧸.

🌿We enjoyed a gloriously muddy session yesterday. It’s lovely how inclusive mud is and how it invites everyone to play with it as they wish. Some wanted to turn it into soup, others wanted to paint with it, walk in it barefoot and even make icecreams out of it.

🌿We also celebrated a birthday with cooling ice lollies and a willow crown for the birthday queen.

🌿And as always, we noticed nature as it seemed to join us in our play. 🐝 🐞

🌿There was some great stick work yesterday in our session. It is wonderful that we can provide the time and space for little ones to explore their interests in this way. 💚🌿🐸

🌞We celebrated the summer solstice in our session today, with cool, bubbly water and elderflowers, a sunshine sensory bowl of lentils and by weaving our own suns to take home. The sun definitely made itself the star attraction of today and we were all grateful for the shade the trees provided. 🌿We were back in the woods today - our first session this summer! The trees welcomed us in and we were grateful for the shade they offered us. We had fun making love bugs for our daddies. Next week we’ll be celebrating the summer solstice - come and join us if you can! 💚🌿🐸

🧡🌞🍃 In honour of the sun and in preparation for the summer solstice, we made a sun out of sticks and wool by weaving the wool around the sticks. My helper suggested we add a bit of sparkle with biodegradable glitter too. 🍃🌞🧡
