Residents have been making the most of the beautiful sunshine and are absolutely loving our new gardening club, which we hold twice weekly alongside daily watering of course 🌸☀️

This week, everyone has been busy getting their hands dirty, planting and filling our new hanging baskets. It’s was wonderful to see so much enthusiasm, teamwork, and creativity blooming alongside the flowers 🌼🌿

Our residents have had a wonderfully busy week, making the most of the sunshine with plenty of minibus outings ☀️🚐

This week’s adventures included visits to the British Motorcycle Museum, The Black Boy in Knowle, Tulleys Tulip Field, and a sweet treat stop at The Henley Ice Cream Shop 🍦

Residents have been making the most of the beautiful sunshine over the past few days, with many requesting a trip to a local pub to relax in the garden. Sitting canalside, watching the pretty boats drift by and enjoying the lovely scenery made it extra special ☀️🍺

Audrey, who we all know as “Bunty,” turned an incredible 101 years young! 💖

To make her day even more memorable, our talented kitchen team created the perfect birthday surprise — a beautifully designed cat-themed cake, inspired by Bunty’s love of cats 🐱🎂

On Monday, we welcomed a very special delivery of living chick eggs to Blossomfield Grange 🐣

Since then, our residents and team members have been carefully checking on them, watching closely for those first tiny cracks… and today, we were delighted to see our very first chicks hatch!

They are absolutely adorable, and it’s safe to say everyone has fallen in love 💛

Having the chicks with us has brought so much joy and social connection, as well as sparking fond memories of the “good old days” when many families kept chickens in their gardens.

The chicks will be with us all over the Easter holidays so please feel free to drop in and have a look! 🐣
