Today we’re celebrating our very own hero and resident Wilson Cotton. He served bravely as a Gun Crew during World War II. Wilson has so many great stories of this time and we love hearing about this time in his life. We know how proud you are of being able to serve in WW2.

Wilson, you might not wear a cape, but you’re a real-life superhero to all of us. Thank you for your service! ❤️

🌹Yesterday we were visited by 4 lovely young ladies from the Mini Vinnies club at St Augustines school, they are a student led group who meet every 2 weeks and love supporting local community.

Our residents loved this activity, along with conversations, board games, singing and an Irish dance display !

Thank you to Everyone who helped to set this up.

We look forward to seeing you again soon. 🌹

This week! Our wonderful resident, 96-year-old Malika Kottegoda, has become a local (and national!) celebrity.

Malika has been sharing her incredible heritage by giving our Head of Hospitality, Paulo Crespo, a masterclass in authentic Sri Lankan cuisine. From fragrant curries to the secrets of traditional spices and jaggery, she’s been proving that age really is just a number when it comes to passion and skill.

We’re thrilled to see her heartwarming story featured in:

Our wonderful residents have been out in the gardens today, enjoying the warm weather and fresh air on what’s been the hottest day of the year so far! ☀️🌸

There’s nothing quite like a bit of sunshine, good company, and a peaceful garden to lift the spirits. Days like these are what make our home so special 💛
