Emotions do no disappear because you didn’t speak your truth, they lay still until you are ready to deal with them and everything else you’ve put on top of them.

Being free isn’t a lack of emotions far from it, it’s about controlling how you want to express yourself & not reacting to things you choose are not worth your time.

Self care is believing in you, believing the decisions you make for you & other people are the right ones.

Self care is knowing that you might not be the best version of yourself this morning but you are kind, caring & you deserve respect.

Not everyone we meet is met to stay in our lives forever, someone people come in to go out again, others are sent to check we’ve learnt the lesson.

If you feel like you keep repeating cycles my advice is simple, ask yourself why? Why am I? The answer will be painful but necessary & the healing will be able to start.

Carrying the weight of your past on your shoulders or ‘boxing’ it off so people don’t know is not healing it’s shutting things off until your ready to deal with them again - it’s a temporary solution.
