This New Moon in Aquarius could be your breakthrough...

There are some moments in the year that feel like new beginnings… and then there are moments like this that feel like powerful energetic thresholds.

This New Moon in Aquarius arrives as we step into the Year of the Fire Horse, and the energy feels quietly strong. Not chaotic or overwhelming but purposeful. Like something has really shifted.

Aquarius is the sign of vision and truth. It asks us to look ahead rather than behind, to imagine a life that feels more aligned, more authentic, more ours. It doesn’t ask us to perform or prove. It asks us to be honest about where we have been shrinking ourselves to stay comfortable, and where we are ready to think differently about who we are becoming. It’s a time to break through those invisible barriers you have built around your dreams.

And then there is the Fire Horse.

In Chinese astrology, the Horse carries independence, movement and spirit. When you add Fire, there is courage, visibility and momentum. It is not reckless, it is sovereign. The kind of energy that reminds you that you were never meant to go through life only half in.

Yesterday, I cleaned, washed my front door, put the rubbish out, washed my hair and meditated after a busy day with clients. Not out of superstition, but out of instinct really. A quiet knowing that when we are about to move into a new energetic cycle, it matters how we show up to cross the threshold as the energy we go in with is the energy we carry forward. Your energetic frequency shapes everything.

To me this doesn’t feel like a year for playing small.

It feels like a year for trusting the nudge you’ve been ignoring. For allowing yourself to outgrow roles, patterns or expectations that no longer fit. For choosing authenticity over approval.

The New Moon is always a seed point for new beginnings. But this one feels like a spark as well.

If you think the Year of the Horse is about speed… you’re misunderstanding the assignment.

The Snake year was never about shrinking.
It was about shedding.

Layers.
Illusions.
Old identities.
Nervous system armour.

The snake doesn’t panic when she sheds.
She trusts the process.
She rubs against what’s uncomfortable until the old skin loosens and falls away.
Then she leaves it behind without ceremony.

Soon the Horse arrives.

And no, she is not here to make you run faster.

Horses are relational.
They mirror your nervous system.
They move when they feel safe.
They rest in herds.
They stand guard for each other.

The Horse is sovereign movement.
Not reactive.

This shift matters even more because we’re entering a Numerology Year 1.

Year 1 is not “prove yourself.”
It’s plant the seed.

It’s:
- Who am I becoming now the old skin is gone?
- What direction feels true in my body?
- Where do I move because I want to… not because I’m chased?

Chinese New Year carries lunar wisdom.
It honours cycles.
It says: reset gently.

So instead of “new year, new me” Try this:

The Full Moon in Leo is here 🌕

That’s a wrap on January and I don’t know about you but I can’t wait for Spring!

January has been a time of stillness for me, looking inward, decluttering in the house, my phone and my head. Being honest with myself about changes that I need to make and thinking about what I really want this year. Things I need to start doing and also things I need to stop doing.

I feel so focused after my goal setting workshop today as I now have a clear plan of where I’m going and what I need to do to make this year a successful one.

The Year of the Fire Horse begins on 17th February, a year that asks us to move bravely and authentically. The Fire Horse carries energy of freedom, strength, passion and fearless intuition. This is a time to step into what truly lights you up.
New beginnings aren’t always dramatic. Sometimes they show up in the quiet, steady ways…

- a new morning ritual
- clearer boundaries
- giving yourself time to switch off
- choosing courage over comfort

Every small step we take is a meaningful part of our growth.

These soft shifts of choosing differently, gentle resets, the inner realignments, the acts of self-trust are the foundations of real change.
