Always shining, never forgotten ⭐

Baby Loss Awareness Week (BLAW) exists to raise awareness of the scale of baby loss, and the heartbreak it can cause. It's a collaboration between multiple charities, including Tommy's, the pregnancy and baby charity.

We're proud to support Tommy's with our Sensathon event which we’ve been running since 2014. The money we’ve raised has helped fund Tommy's ground breaking research that's saving babies' lives.

Soothing lullabies can have a deep, comforting impact on babies and help them to relax and sleep. Repeating melodies share the characteristics of repetitiveness, constancy, and rhythm reminiscent of the womb environment.

Soft classical music of a slow tempo (60 BPM/Largo), or simple melodies such as ‘Say Hello to the Sun’ remind the baby of the mother’s resting heart beat in the womb and can help the newborn relax and drift into peaceful sleep.

This week we have started back with our “Say Hello” plan. Babies will explore sensory lights, magic light up fingers, meet Harry and Sally our sensory friends plus watching sparky fish 🐟 swim over us and exploring black, white and red.
