There’s a point in the journey where things start to feel unfamiliar.
You’ve grown, you’ve shifted, but somehow you feel more emotional, not less. More unsettled than you expected to feel at this stage.
You’re not the same woman you were - but the version you’re becoming hasn’t fully landed yet either. In that space, it’s easy to feel lost. Or like something is wrong with you.
I see this so often in my work with women. They come to me saying, “I thought I’d feel better by now. Why does this feel so messy?”
But this part is normal.
It’s the in-between - the space between old ways of being and new ones still taking root. It’s where your nervous system is catching up with everything you’ve let go of.
When you start choosing yourself, setting boundaries, saying no without guilt, listening to your body - your system might push back. Because it’s been trained to survive through old habits: people-pleasing, overthinking, staying small to keep the peace.
So of course it feels uncomfortable.
But this isn’t failure.
It’s not sabotage.
It’s old wiring being disrupted.
And it doesn’t mean you’re going backwards.
It means you’re becoming the woman you were always meant to be - before the conditioning, the survival patterns, the self-doubt.
This version of you…she’s not lost. She’s just new.
She’s learning to take up space without needing to apologise for it.
If you’re in this space right now - tired, confused, second-guessing yourself - it’s okay.
It doesn’t mean you’re broken.
It means you’re healing.
And you don’t have to figure it all out alone.
