🏊‍♂️ The final swim!

This summer, we’ve been taking on the Aquasphere Chillswim Triple Crown Challenge, swimming the full length of three Lake District lakes to support our dear friend Matt and raise awareness for Motor Neurone Disease (MND).

Our journey:

• Lake Coniston – 5.25 miles (21st June)
• Ullswater – 7.5 miles (12th July)
• Lake Windermere – 11 miles (6th September)

All proceeds go to The Matt Gallagher Foundation, helping people living with MND and their families—from funding stairlifts and wet rooms to supporting dream holidays, creating lasting memories while time is precious 💙

A huge, heartfelt thank you to all our friends, family, and patients for your support—it means the world to us and to Matt. We can’t wait for the final swim tomorrow! 🙌

Only two weeks to go until we take on the first of three epic lake crossings as part of the Aquasphere Chillswim Triple Crown Challenge — starting with a 5.25 mile swim across the mighty Lake Coniston.

We’re doing this in support of our incredible friend Matt and The Matt Gallagher Foundation, a charity dedicated to helping people living with Motor Neurone Disease in the Midlands.

I've been struggling with migraines for a few months now which, when running your own business, can be a bit of a nightmare.

On a recommendation from a friend, I visited Daleswood Health in Barston and had a couple of really helpful sessions with Katie North which included a sports massage and acupuncture.

Have genuinely been feeling a lot better and have not had a migraine since🤞🤞 meaning I am back to doing the fun stuff again.

Meet Charlotte Mallon, our dedicated Children’s Physiotherapist here at Daleswood Health. With over 20 years of NHS experience — including 15 years specialising in musculoskeletal (MSK) physiotherapy — Charlotte brings expert care tailored specifically to babies, children, and young people.

From supporting little ones with developmental delays to helping teens recover from sports injuries, Charlotte’s approach is all about understanding the unique needs of growing bodies. She’s passionate about helping children move confidently, grow healthily, and get back to doing what they love — stronger, safer, and pain-free.

Charlotte is available for appointments at Daleswood every other Saturday.
