We had a lovely afternoon on Thursday at our monthly Caring Connections group. Lots of chatting and brain teasers over tea and cake. Look at this super card that was made with love , in the crafting session , for a sisters special birthday later this month 🩷

Happy Easter to all out Caring Connections group .
We were very impressed with your arts and crafts eggs.
Everybody enjoyed the hot Cross buns and simnel cake and the Easter eggs were taken home to enjoy today .
I think everybody learnt something on the Easter Quiz!

Caring Connections Celebrated mother’s day by sharing precious memories of our moms and a brain training quiz .
After a delicious slice of lemon drizzle cake and cups of tea , a spot of plant potting was enjoyed by all .

Loneliness and isolation should never be something anyone has to encounter .
On Thursday Elite Assistance hosted our first
“Caring Connections”
A friendship support group for our clients and their family members to meet up , mingle and chat over a cuppa and the most delicious home made cakes. As it was St David’s day on Saturday we all had a go at making a welsh peg doll followed by a stroll down memory lane ,revisiting monuments of the past and chatting about then and now.
To say it was a big hit is an understatement and the phone hasn’t stopped ringing with more people booking a place for the next one .
Caring Connections will be held on the last Thursday of each month and will also be open to the community .

Thank you to Central Fast Response and everyone who attended the first aid event tonight. It was wonderful to see the community come together with the prime objective of helping others. If the learning and new skills have impact on only one critical event in the future it is one life saved that may have been lost. Well done everyone!
