It is now time to start advertising in the East Midlands as I am just waiting for my marks now. If you work or live with highly anxious children, neurodiverse children, parents or schools that need support or training please share my details. My experience is 20 years working with autistic/adhd children and their parents, children who are too anxious to attend school, and support schools to understand and manage the needs of neurodiverse children in mainstream and specialist settings. Today is the start of my next adventure, the Children and Young People's course so I can provide creative therapy for all ages up to 18 (or 25 with additional needs). I love working with little ones but the older ones are also an interest to me, and it amazing what i learn form the teenagers

Just some of my reflections recently, like many parents i often question my parenting now and about the past. If only I knew then what I have learnt over the years. It's never too late to change even when our kids are adults

Are you managing a range of needs in your setting as a SENCO, senior leadership, Pastoral, out of provision lead and unsure of the needs of the children or young people and based in the East Midlands. I can offer:
* Observations and feedback
* Therapeutic approaches to behaviours of concern
* Training for all staff in a range of topics
* Autism interventions covering social communication, social interactions, play and emotions interventions
*Advice sessions, workshops and, coffee morning, wellbeing sessions and support for parents/carers
* weekly one to one sessions with pupils- play therapy, mentoring, counselling from April 2026, exploring emotions, feelings and differences plus a range of other areas of need
* wellbeing sessions and one to one for staff who need advice in a pupil, or a listening ear.

All my coursework and portfolio is submitted now, so it is time to start advertising ready for the end. I'm starting to move some of my days to the East Midlands now as and when my Birmingham work ends so it's time to get the message out there.
