These are the habits I wish I had started much sooner in life.
š save this, your future self will thank you.
1) Mind over matter - mindset is key so learn how to control your mind before it controls you.
2)Always take your mental health seriously, not ālaterā
3)remember your needs matter too, never dismiss your own physical and mental needs to please others. The cost of this will be high later in life.
4) Maintain a strict morning routine, even 10ā15 minutes
5)Learn about boundaries and actually keep them
if you want to say no, say no. Protect your energy and being.
6)Practise gratitude and WHATS BEEN GOOD every night before bed wrote down whatās been good actions, thoughts and interactions .
7)The mind and body are connected when in doubt move your body. Shake, walk around your home, dance. It will move incomplete emotions and energy through your body
8) Never be afraid to go it alone and do anything alone , get out your comfort zone.
9)Create your own independent financial security, so no matter what you have always got your own back.
10)Spend as much time outside, it will help ground you, increase your focus and move your body.
11) Learn about emotional regulation and build a toolkit for ādaily maintenanceā so you can hold capacity for whatever life may bring.
12) Prioritise Deep rest not just a bath or tv time real deep reat where you are present and slow with yourself.
13) Heal old wounds instead of normalising them, otherwise they will show up in all your relationships
14) On the tough days Treat yourself with kindness and grace. Wind everything back, shut out the noise and take it real slow.
And remember life starts with self awareness š
