Since having babies 20 years ago her body has never felt the same.

Her back have never been right. Crazy that people have to live that long in pain.

We checked her squat, her hip mobility and strength of her core and glutes.

She wanted to get strong and fit, but first she just wanted to be able to walk the dog and be generally active.

We have achieved the first part - now on to the next!

So many people choose intensity as their first aspect of exercise. This is wrong. You learn that everything is to hard and you ache for days after.

What’s right : is to learn how your body moves. What muscles are responsible for what actions.
What exercise does your body need?

Training smart to get strong and healthy.
Making training really hard is good when somebody is ready physically to train hard.

Most people aren’t to begin with.

Being strong is one part of being healthy.

The best way to measure strength - regardless of age is how well can you lift weights. Particularly your squat and deadlift.

Many people who start with us have never done either , and if they have it’s been uncomfortable.

Technique is everything - and depending on your body , will depend on your technique.

Most people come to us start with - I want to get stronger and fitter - but this hurts. To build confidence in a gym you have to feel pain free first - then you can focus on getting strong.

We see a lot of shoulder issues due to bad posture. It’s important we fix the pain first before we go in to more intense exercise.
