A glimpse into the Black Country at the height of the Industrial Revolution 🏭
Painted at Dudley Canal & Tunnels Trust this week, I designed this mural to depict the smoke-filled skies, ironworks, grit & innovation. A landscape of furnaces, rail wagons, ironworks, and most importantly highlighting Dudley’s vital canal network at the time.

Based on the children’s book ‘There’s a Rang-tan in my bedroom’, I was asked to create a mural to wrap around 3 walls in this bedroom, in an upcoming showhome.
The beautiful story book (& an adaptation of a Greenpeace animation) highlights the plight of orangutans & the threats to their environment.
