Maria was the first resident to move into Claridge Place when we first opened so it was our absolute pleassure in hosting Maria’s very special day.

Today we’re celebrating the incredible women of Claridge Place. 💜

The photos shared today feature just some of the wonderful female residents who call Claridge Place home, but we want to recognise that every single one of the women here is truly inspirational. Each of them carries a lifetime of experiences, memories, strength and wisdom and every story is unique and worth celebrating 💜

Today is about honouring these amazing women, celebrating their lives, and recognising the impact they’ve had on the people and communities around them. It’s also a moment to recognise the wonderful female team at Claridge Place and across Sanders Senior Living.

Another karaoke hit from today’s karaoke session …. ❤️

Today at Claridge Place Care Home we turned up the music and enjoyed a fantastic karaoke session with our wonderful residents and staff. The room was filled with laughter, singing, and plenty of enthusiasm as everyone joined in with some favourite tunes.

From classic sing-alongs to a few surprise performances, it was lovely to see everyone getting involved, clapping along, and cheering each other on. Moments like these remind us just how powerful music can be in bringing people together.

Music truly is the key to happiness. It lifts spirits, sparks memories, encourages connection, and creates joyful moments that everyone can share. Today’s karaoke session did exactly that — putting smiles on faces and filling Claridge Place with positive energy.

A big thank you to everyone who took part and made the session so special. We’re already looking forward to the next one! 🎶✨

We were delighted to host our second Mother & Baby Group session, and what a wonderful morning it was!

Our residents thoroughly enjoyed spending time with the little ones sharing smiles, cuddles, and plenty of laughter. These special sessions create beautiful moments where generations come together, and it’s truly heart-warming to see the joy it brings to everyone involved.

Interacting with babies can have many benefits for our residents. The presence of young children can lift mood, reduce feelings of loneliness, and spark happy memories of parenting and family life. The gentle sounds, movements, and curiosity of babies also provide meaningful sensory stimulation and encourage conversation and social connection.

For the babies and parents, it’s equally special. These sessions help build a sense of community and give little ones the chance to interact with older generations, fostering empathy, warmth, and shared experiences.

A big thank you to all the mums and babies who joined us, we can’t wait to welcome everyone back for our next session! 👶✨
