Some of our residents enjoyed a wonderful trip to the Black Country Musuem today and what a perfect day for it ☀️

Stepping back in time sparked so many memories and stories of the lives we’ve lived! There was a real sense of nostalgia with a trip down memory lane 💛

To make the occasion that little more special, it was our lovely Sheila’s birthday too!! Happy birthday 🍰

A huge thank you to both Rachel and Michelle who organised a wonderful trip and as always to our lovely driver Mark who go us there safely! 👏🏼

This afternoon we enjoyed a little tea tasting session! On the menu we had….

🫖 Liquorice 🍬
🫖 Peppermint 🌱
🫖 Berries 🍓
🫖 Ginger 🫚
🫖 Camomile ☕️

We’ve definitely decided you can’t beat a “proper” cup of tea but the session was a great success and it’s always great to try something new! We also enjoyed a delicious Victoria sponge cake 🍰

Reaching out to Mamas & babies 💛 Our Tiny Tots & Timeless tales is completely free to attend and you don’t need to book 💛 it’s a chance to get out of the house, meet other Mums and have the most wonderful morning with our residents! We hold our group on the last Thursday of every month, the next one being Thursday 30th April ☺️ We can’t wait to welcome you!

What a lovely day! We started our morning with an a exercise class 🚴🏼 We then moved on to our morning activity “A taste of France” 🇫🇷 where we enjoyed a coffee, a croissant 🥐 and a French lesson! Some of our residents enjoyed a trip out to Shirley Aquatics 🐟 This afternoon, it was eyes down for BINGO!! ✨

Today, some of our residents enjoyed a truly special day out at the RAF Cosford Museum.

From the moment we arrived, there was a sense of excitement in the air. The museum offers an incredible journey through aviation history, with awe-inspiring aircraft, interactive exhibits, and fascinating stories that bring the past to life. From iconic warplanes to immersive displays, there was something for everyone to explore and enjoy.

What made the day even more meaningful was the warm and heartfelt welcome given to our residents Ray and Peter, both veterans. They were recognised and greeted with such kindness and respect, making the visit even more memorable for them and for all of us who shared in that moment.

There was laughter, reminiscing, and plenty of wide-eyed wonder as residents explored the hangars, shared stories, and took in the incredible sights. Days like this remind us how powerful experiences can be in bringing people together and creating lasting memories.

A magical day filled with history, pride, and joy, one we will be talking about for a long time to come!

We’ve had a wonderful day 💛 We started off our morning with an art class, using balloons to create some beautiful, colourful flower paintings 🎨🖌️ We enjoyed a game of pool and darts in our bistro 🎱 This afternoon, it was eyes down for bingo and we had three lucky winners this week 👏🏼
