Working closely with loved ones and Funeral Directors, I offer a professional, friendly and compassionate service. I worked in education as a Film and Media Studies Lecturer for a number of years before becoming an Academic Coach. Having gone as far as I could with my teaching career in the formal arts education sector, I felt it was time to move on. It was suggested to me by an insightful mentor

and friend that my calling may lie in the role of Civil Celebrant. Having lost my father unexpectedly when he was in his early 50s, the subtly concealed world of funerals and bereavement suddenly became a big part of my life. The help we received as a family from the Funeral Directors and our Celebrant was second to none and helped us come to terms with our sudden and devastating loss. When the time was right, I embarked on my journey and training as an Independent Civil Celebrant. I like to think of it as my Dad's legacy and my way of paying forward the incredible support and kindness we received.
