Mabli surrounded by auspicious clouds yesterday at Ruyi Cloud-Top, a high panoramic viewing point in Yangshuo, a satellite town of Guilin City. While the UK is enjoying another heatwave, the usually blisteringly Guangxi Province is deluged with unprecedented tropical storms. The promised 360-degree panorama of mountain peaks morphed into Playing with Clouds. As you can see, I was not dressed appropriately and got soaked despite the borrowed purple tent, but when I saw the bagua and prayer ribbons, I felt compiled to Connect Heaven and Earth and practise Lee short form. Euphoric and energising.

Heartfelt gratitude to those who shared practice this morning via Zoom. Perhaps a good opportunity to revisit this Blog, which lists the relevant Pericardium meridian points:
The Point of Precision – Tracing Meridians and Optimising Qi Flow

When we understand the relationship between Qigong movements and the corresponding TCM acupoints, we can optimise Qi production and elevate flow. We can use our Yi to stimulate and/or calm particular points that would affect health issues.

About Us

Tai Chi for Better Health is a Community Interest Company (CIC) dedicated to training Tai Chi Instructors in Tai Chi Qigong Shibashi. Shibashi is an easy Tai Chi to learn and is a set of 18 movements. The benefits of this form of Tai Chi include better balance, improved mobility, relaxation, relief from stress, anxiety and depression and an overall improvement in health and well being.

To date, we have trained over 200 instructors throughout the UK ranging from clients wishing to set up their own classes to volunteers working within Age UK, Ageing Better, and the National Health Service.

Our instructors Andy, Paul, and Tracey Have a wealth of experience and expertise. They have come together to offer this training as they have seen first hand the positive effects this form of Tai Chi can have on people’s lives.

We train companies, organisations, groups, and individuals. Where possible we aim to offer our training free of charge so that the amazing health benefits of this Tai Chi form can be enjoyed by people in their local communities
