We had a wonderful visit from the lovely Pom Pom Lady, who came in to help us get moving and have some fun! 💃✨

Residents enjoyed learning a few dances, waving the pom poms, and joining in with the music. It was a fantastic way to stay active, share some laughs, and brighten the day. 🤩

To top it all off, she treated us to a lovely performance of her own dancing skills, which everyone thoroughly enjoyed. 👏

We celebrated National Strawberry Day in the sweetest way! 🍓

Residents enjoyed a delicious selection of treats, including chocolate-dipped strawberries, strawberries with cream, and strawberries with sugar, plenty of options for everyone to enjoy. 😋

Alongside the tasty treats, we kept our minds active with word searches and crosswords, and shared some interesting facts about this fun national day. It was a lovely afternoon filled with smiles, conversation, and of course lots of strawberries! 🤩

We had a fantastic time celebrating National Chocolate Mint Day! 🍫🌿

Everyone got involved with themed word searches, enjoyed learning all about the history of the day, and of course… indulged in plenty of delicious chocolate mint treats! 😋

It was a wonderful mix of fun activities, learning, and a little bit of sweetness to brighten the day. 😍

Can you believe it's been a week since Valentine's Day? 💖

Here at Wessex House, we truly embraced the spirit of love! Our residents created beautiful Valentine's cards andgot creative decorating heart-shaped biscuits. They also enjoyed delicious heart-shaped treats freshly baked by our amazing kitchen team! 🍪❤️

Our Activities Coordinator, Emily, brought Nimbus the cat to visit us again, and he showered us with cuddles!
Nimbus made sure to greet everyone as he wandered around - it was lovely to see everyone enjoying his company. 🐾💖
