🎉 Happy 104th Birthday, Maisie! 🎂🌸

We had a wonderful time celebrating Maisie’s 104th birthday! Her lovely family joined us, and our kitchen team made a beautiful cake to mark the occasion. 🎈💐

Maisie was spoilt with flowers, chocolates, balloons and so much love – a truly special day enjoyed by all. 💛

🌟 Reach for a Dream: Lynton's Wish 🌟

Last month, our Reach for a Dream winner was the lovely Lynton, who had a very special request, a digger blanket! 🚜🧡

We were delighted to make his dream come true with a warm, cosy blanket featuring his favourite diggers. The joy on his face was priceless! 🥰

It’s always such a pleasure to bring our residents’ dreams to life, no matter how big or small. 🤩

Bridging Generations with Smiles and Stories 👵👦💬

We had a truly special day when Sally, our amazing Activities Lead, brought in her lovely grandchildren, Kaiden and Jenson.

Our residents lit up as they spent time chatting and playing, sharing stories, laughter, and memories. The visit sparked wonderful conversations about their own families, how many grandchildren they have, and what school was like in their day.

Moments like these remind us just how meaningful intergenerational connections can be. 💛

What a spectacle for our residents as they watched the Butleigh Cavalcade of Motoring pass the home recently! 🚗🏎️

Residents had a brilliant time picking out the cars they used to drive - as well as those on their motoring wish list - as the parade of classic and interesting vehicles went by! 🚛🚙

🍹 Cocktail Day Fun! 🍹

Our residents had a fantastic time choosing their favourite cocktails and sampling some exciting new flavours! From fruity blends to classic favourites, there was something for everyone to enjoy.

The colourful toppings and little umbrellas brought lots of smiles, with many laughing that they felt very fancy indeed! 😄🍍🍒

Staff joined in the fun too, sipping on refreshing mocktails and sharing in the joyful atmosphere. It was a lovely way to unwind, share stories, and enjoy a touch of tropical cheer together. 🌞

VE Day Celebrations 🇬🇧

Our residents had a lovely day marking VE Day together! We started with a cosy coffee morning, followed by delicious fish and chips from Tony’s, always a favourite!

Take Note came in to entertain us with some wonderful singing, and the kitchen treated everyone to homemade cakes and scones for tea. 🎶

It was especially heart warming to hear residents share their memories and stories from 80 years ago, a special reminder of the strength and spirit of that generation. ❤️
