Our residents recently took part in a teddy bear themed quiz, all about some of the most beloved bears. From Pudsey and Rupert to Paddington, Baloo, Barnaby and, of course, Winnie the Pooh! 🐻💛

With 10 questions to answer, there was plenty of fun, laughter and memories shared. We had two fantastic winners, Rosa and Janice, who both scored an impressive 9 out of 10! 👏🌟

To celebrate, each of them received a lovely rose pot as their prize. 🌹

Well done Rosa and Janice and, thank you to everyone who joined in the fun. What a bear-y good afternoon it was! 🥰

🎉💐 A very special celebration for Violet’s 80th birthday! 💐🎉

Violet was truly spoilt with flowers, chocolates, balloons and, a delicious cake lovingly made by our kitchen team 🍰

It was wonderful to have her family join us, making the day even more memorable. A great time was had by all! 🥂🎂

🏖 Beach Week fun!

Our residents had an amazing time during Beach Week – building sandcastles, exploring seashells, and even holding a friendly competition to see who could create the best sandcastle, with some acting as judges! 🏆

The activities sparked wonderful conversations and happy memories of seaside trips with their families. 💛

We had a wonderful time celebrating Maisie’s 104th birthday! Her lovely family joined us, and our kitchen team made a beautiful cake to mark the occasion. 🎈💐

Maisie was spoilt with flowers, chocolates, balloons and so much love – a truly special day enjoyed by all. 💛

🌟 Reach for a Dream: Lynton's Wish 🌟

Last month, our Reach for a Dream winner was the lovely Lynton, who had a very special request, a digger blanket! 🚜🧡

We were delighted to make his dream come true with a warm, cosy blanket featuring his favourite diggers. The joy on his face was priceless! 🥰

It’s always such a pleasure to bring our residents’ dreams to life, no matter how big or small. 🤩

Bridging Generations with Smiles and Stories 👵👦💬

We had a truly special day when Sally, our amazing Activities Lead, brought in her lovely grandchildren, Kaiden and Jenson.

Our residents lit up as they spent time chatting and playing, sharing stories, laughter, and memories. The visit sparked wonderful conversations about their own families, how many grandchildren they have, and what school was like in their day.

Moments like these remind us just how meaningful intergenerational connections can be. 💛
