As a mobile practitioner specialising in creative sessions, I’ve spent time really understanding how caring for others - and the general pressures of life - can impact our wellbeing.

That’s why I created *Cloud & Conversation*.

This space isn’t just for those being cared for- it’s for you, the carer too. While your loved one is supported, I invite you to step outside, breathe in some fresh air, and enjoy a moment of calm connection. No expectations, just gentle conversation, creativity, and a chance to feel like yourself again. Tell me what you enjoy and I’ll bring the transport and the conversation to you.

You deserve that time.

If a relaxed, welcoming break sounds like something you need, with a person to engage with I’d love to hear from you 💙

This is beautiful….Did you know that I am also a host for The Filo Project?! I frequently spend quality time with people living with dementia. ♥️

I’m currently looking for games and puzzles (around 100-200 pieces) to replenish my stock pile and make it different! Do let me know if you were thinking of sending anything onto charity and consider me too for a great cause.

Do you have a loved one who spends a lot of time at home feeling isolated or lonely? 💛

A parent, partner, or friend who could really benefit from a change of scene, or some gentle connection in their own space?

At The Nesting Box Studio, I offer calm, supportive sessions designed to bring comfort, creativity, and companionship - through quiet activities, conversation, or simply being in a nurturing environment.

And for carers… when was the last time you had a proper break? You deserve one too.

I would love to know what might stop you from booking a session like this? Is it time, cost, uncertainty, or something else?

Your thoughts really help me shape what I offer.

Drop a comment or message me privately if you prefer. 💬

Let’s start the conversation.

I've been busy cutting out florals this evening for the Month of May....can you even believe we are almost in May already!

🌸 A gentle look at what happens during my 'May collage session' 🌸 This is part of my Creative Therapy course, which lasts for 6 months. (1 per month). Visiting as a mobile facilitator to a persons own home.

This session is about so much more than arts and crafts - it’s a thoughtful, one-to-one experience designed to encourage conversation, confidence, creativity, and connection, all from the comfort of home.

Together, we’ll explore a selection of carefully chosen collage images, colours, and textures, chatting along the way about personal preferences, memories, and interests.

Some of the gentle prompts I might use include:

✨ “Which colours stand out to you today?”
✨ “Do any of these pictures remind you of a favourite place, season, or memory?”
✨ “Which pieces would you like to choose for your collage?”
✨ “Would you like something bright and cheerful, or calm and peaceful?”
✨ “What would you like your picture to say about you?”

These simple choices can support independence, spark conversation, encourage memory recall, and help older adults express themselves in a relaxed and enjoyable way.
Throughout the session, I provide friendly one-to-one support, helping with cutting & arranging where needed, while keeping the experience sociable, engaging, and pressure-free.

The benefits can include:
💛 Gentle cognitive stimulation
💛 Creative self-expression
💛 Confidence through choice-making
💛 Meaningful companionship
💛 An enjoyable activity without needing to leave your home

Every collage becomes unique - a reflection of personality, memories, and creativity - while the session itself offers connection, comfort, and purposeful engagement.

A calm, meaningful activity that brings creativity and conversation directly to someone’s own safe space.

A little reminder… you don’t have to be “creative” to be creative.

At The Nesting Box Studio, it’s not about being good at art - it’s about taking time, slowing down, and doing something that feels good.

I offer relaxed, one-to-one creative sessions in your own home, where we make, chat, and just enjoy the process together. Everything’s provided, and there’s no pressure at all.

This can be especially lovely for older adults - keeping minds active and hands busy.

If you or someone you know might benefit, feel free to message me for a chat 🤍

Today in my mobile studio, clay takes centre stage… 🤎

Working with clay can be such a powerful and grounding experience, especially for older adults. The simple act of shaping, pressing, and moulding encourages gentle movement in the hands and fingers, supporting dexterity and coordination in a natural, enjoyable way.
But it’s not just physical — clay invites presence. It slows things down, offering a calming, sensory-rich experience that can reduce anxiety and promote relaxation. There’s no pressure for perfection, just the freedom to explore, create, and express.

For many, it also sparks memories — of making, building, or even childhood play — opening the door to conversation and connection.
Today’s session is all about embracing that process: feeling the texture & enjoying the moment. 🌿

Introducing 'Cloud & Conversation'

For many people living at home, especially those with limited mobility or confidence, stepping outside can feel overwhelming - and sometimes it simply doesn’t happen at all.

I’m offering gentle, one-to-one nature outings for those who may otherwise struggle to get outdoors. Whether it’s sitting in a quiet park, watching the clouds drift by, breathing in fresh air, or enjoying an unhurried chat, these visits are calm, supportive and tailored to the individual.

For some, this may be their only time out of the house that week - and that time matters.

These sessions can also provide carers and family members with peace of mind, knowing their loved one is safely accompanied, engaged, and enjoying the simple but powerful benefits of nature.

🌱 £30 per hour
🌱 Additional time available
🌱 Small fuel contribution may apply depending on distance travelled.

If you’d like to learn more or discuss whether this would suit your loved one, please feel free to message me for a friendly chat.

Today’s medium of choice is oil pastels! I’m off to deliver some creative facilitation and what a day for it! Bringing this joy from the outside in. Today we’ll be talking about the changing of the season. Poetry tailor made to provoke springtime memories and free flowing colour to complement those memories. I had some beautiful tulips from a friend and they have made my day. 🌷

I’ve just come back from a gentle walk with my dog 🐾🍃 and it reminded me how powerful a little fresh air and open sky can be.

Not everyone is able to step outside so easily - especially older loved ones who may need a little extra support, transport, or care to get out and about. And yet, the simple joy of watching the clouds drift by, feeling the breeze, and sharing a conversation can make such a difference to wellbeing.

That’s why I’m offering “Cloud & Conversation” ☁️✨ - a calm, supported hour in nature for those who might not otherwise be able to access it alone. I can provide gentle assistance, transport if needed, and a reassuring presence, so your loved one can safely enjoy time outdoors again.

It’s about dignity, connection, fresh air, and meaningful conversation - at a pace that feels comfortable and kind.

I’ll be sharing more details very soon, so if you’re supporting an older family member who would benefit from this, keep an eye out
