- 62,000 people are stuck in a backlog waiting for decisions.
- 33,000 are still waiting to be paid.

📍 Project Spotlight: Tyntesfield National Trust

We carried out a service visit to test hearing loops across the estate - covering counter loops at every reception desk as well as room loops in teaching and presentation spaces.

Every system is clearly signed for visitors, and portable Phonak Roger systems are available across the whole site for improved communication.

Great to see accessibility front and centre at such a beautiful National Trust location.

We were recently invited to demo the Roger Soundfield range of equipment in several bookable event spaces within the crypt, directly under St Paul’s Cathedral. 🏛

While the setting is stunning, the acoustics are challenging, and hearing was a struggle for everyone. That’s why it’s great to see such an iconic venue taking accessibility seriously for visitors who are hard of hearing. 🦻

📍 Project Spotlight: Dorchester Corn Exchange

Last week, we upgraded the PA system and added a Roger Basestation, giving visitors with hearing aids direct access to crystal-clear audio.

Now, thanks to this upgrade, everyone can be part of the experience.

To commission the system, we chose a track from the legendary Ozzy Osbourne - a fitting tribute to a true icon whose music broke barriers and brought people together. 🤘🎸

📍 Project Spotlight: The British Library, London

We’re proud to have completed a full service of all assistive listening systems at the British Library, the national library of the United Kingdom 📚

🔧 This comprehensive project included:
✅ Over 50 counter loops
✅ More than 10 room loops
✅ A Wi-Fi + loop system in the Main Auditorium
✅ Several portable Roger room systems

🦻 With over 1.6 million visitors each year — and 1 in 5 UK adults experiencing some form of hearing loss — keeping these systems in top condition is vital for accessibility and inclusion.

🏛️ About the British Library:
🔹 Home to over 170 million items from every era of written civilization
🔹 The largest national library in the world by number of catalogued items
🔹 Shelving spans 746km — that’s the distance from London to Aberdeen — and grows by 8km every year!
🔹 Features the King’s Library, a striking glass tower of books collected by King George III
🔹 Holds treasures including the Magna Carta, Shakespeare’s First Folio, Beatles manuscripts, 3,000+ year-old Chinese oracle bones, and a 3,600-year-old Egyptian stela inscribed with a hymn to Osiris in hieroglyphics
