A very special visitor brought big smiles and warm hearts to Sonning Gardens- meet Gin the donkey! Residents were absolutely delighted by her gentle nature and soft furry cuddles. From nuzzles to neighs, Gin spread joy through every hallway and made unforgettable memories for everyone.
It's not everyday you get to hang out with such a charming four-legged friend!

Today, we celebrate the incredible women who fill our home with wisdom, warmth, and love. Our grandmothers were treated to a day of pampering, complete with relaxing hand massages, manicures, and a delicious afternoon tea!

After 3 lovely years at Sonning Gardens Care Home, I have to say a sad farewell today. I am leaving to start a new job in Fleet, closer to my home.
It goes without saying that I will miss the team, residents and family members that I have got to know during my time here.
I am leaving my role in the safe hands of Tracey Van Zyl who you will get to know over the next few weeks and months as she is out and about in the home.

Thanks to Olivia Byers from Leightons Audiology for coming to the home and delivering an informative and interesting talk on hearing aid choices and care.
The Leightons team offered great advice on ear health, wax removal and which hearing aids would best suit the residents needs.
