We all tell ourselves things that feel true… but keep us stuck.

Not because you’re lazy.
Not because you don’t care.

But because these patterns are easy to fall into, especially when life feels busy, stressful, or overwhelming.

“I’ll start tomorrow.”
“I don’t have time.”
“I need motivation first.”

They sound small…
but they’re the exact thoughts that keep the stop-start cycle going.

The shift isn’t about being more disciplined.

It’s about becoming aware of the patterns that are running in the background.

Because once you see them…

You can actually start to change them.

If this sounds like you… follow for more 🤩

“You don’t find this level of coaching elsewhere.”

That’s what Damiana said after coming back to train with us.

After spending time abroad, she tried other gyms…
and it just wasn’t the same.

Too much pushing.
Not enough coaching.
Sessions you end up dreading instead of enjoying.

What she missed wasn’t just training… it was the detail.

The small adjustments.
The right cues at the right time.
Being pushed just enough, without feeling broken afterwards.

And something else she didn’t expect…

How much she missed training alongside familiar faces.
People she knows.
People she feels comfortable with.

That matters more than most people realise.

That’s the difference.

And it’s why she came to train with us again.

If you’ve ever felt like gyms just aren’t built for you…

Send me a message. We’ll show you a better way to train.

If your body feels different lately…
you’re not imagining it.

What used to work doesn’t feel the same anymore.
Energy dips, recovery is slower, and things just feel a bit harder.

It’s easy to think you’re doing something wrong.

But you’re not.

Your body is changing and it needs a different approach now.

This is where resistance training really helps.

Not to push harder,
but to stay strong, support your energy, and reduce aches.

And with food, it’s not about restriction.

It’s about simple, consistent structure that makes things feel easier again.

You can’t stop change…
but you can support your body better.

If you want some guidance with this,

Most people don't struggle because they don't know what to do.

They struggle because what they're doing doesn't last.

Too extreme.
Too restrictive.
Too reliant on motivation.

And eventually... it falls apart.
Real progress isn't about doing more.

It's about doing the right things in a way you can actually maintain.

Supporting your body.
Building habits.
Creating structure that works with real life.

Because if it doesn't last...
You'll always end up starting again.

If this sounds like you... follow for more.

Most women don’t come to us just to lose weight.

They come to us because their body doesn’t feel how it used to.

Stiff. Tight. Achy. Low energy.

As our body changes, if we don’t adapt how we look after it…
things can start to feel harder than they should.

This is why we include sessions like this.

Not just to “work out.”
But to build strength, support joints, and help your body feel better day to day.

Because it’s not about pushing harder.
It’s about giving your body what it actually needs.

The scales don’t show this.

This is what consistency looks like.

Not perfection.
Not extremes.
Not chasing the scales every day.

Just small habits… repeated over time.

Because here’s the truth 👇

The scales don’t always tell the full story:
• how your shape is changing
• how your clothes are fitting
• how your confidence is improving
• how much stronger you’re getting

But photos do! 🤩
Photos capture what the scales can’t. 🫶

And this is why we encourage our clients to track progress in more than one way.

Because when you focus only on the scales,
you can miss the progress that’s right in front of you.

And that’s often the reason people give up too soon.

It might be time to start looking at your progress differently. 👀

This is exactly what we help our clients understand.

What if your progress is already happening… you’re just not measuring it the right way?

Most people think the hard part is fat loss.
But the truth is…
a lot of things are hard.

Changing habits is hard.
Staying consistent is hard.
Making better choices in a world full of convenience is hard.

But staying stuck is hard too.

Feeling low on energy.
Feeling uncomfortable in your body.
That quiet voice in the back of your mind saying
“I know I should do something…”

Life will give you challenges either way.

The real question is simply this:

Which hard moves you forward?

And here’s the important part…

You don’t have to do everything perfectly.
You just have to start making small choices that move you in the direction you want to go.

Progress isn’t built through perfection.
It’s built through consistency, awareness, and support.

And that’s exactly what we help people build. 😃

One of the biggest reasons people stay stuck in the stop–start cycle isn’t a lack of motivation.

It’s trying to figure everything out on your own.

With so much information out there, it’s easy for things to feel confusing, overwhelming, and frustrating — even when you know what you should be doing.

And that’s something I’ve seen over and over again in the last 15 years working mainly with women in their 40s, 50s and 60s.

The results people want are achievable.

But often the missing piece is the right structure, support and guidance while they learn to trust themselves again.

And that’s exactly what we’ve been refining behind the scenes.

More on that very soon.

14/03/2026

Breaking the stop–start cycle isn’t about more willpower.

It’s about having a simple structure to fall back on when motivation isn’t there.

The basics we teach our clients start with three things:

• being consistent with protein
• having a few go-to snacks ready when cravings hit
• understanding what a balanced plate looks like

When your meals are satisfying and predictable, you’re far less likely to keep searching for something else afterwards.

But the real shift happens in the moment of choice.

That small pause where you ask yourself:

“Is this choice taking me closer to where I want to be… or further away?”

In the final video of this Break the Cycle series, I’ll explain why having the right support and guidance is what really helps people stop repeating the same patterns.

“Ugh… I had dessert last night and now I feel like I’ve ruined everything.”

I hear this from clients all the time.

But the truth is, one choice doesn’t ruin your progress.

What usually keeps people stuck is believing that it does.

Because once the brain decides everything is ruined, the whole day often gets written off.

And that’s how the stop–start cycle continues.

The shift is simple:

Reset sooner.

Not Monday.
Not tomorrow.

Just the next choice.

In the next video I’ll show you the simple structure we use with our clients that makes this much easier than relying on motivation alone.

Follow along so you don’t miss it.

10/03/2026

In the last video we talked about the “I’ll start again Monday” cycle.

A lot of people think that happens because they lack willpower or motivation.

But most of the time, it’s neither.

It’s a pattern.

When we’re tired, stressed, bored or overwhelmed, the brain looks for quick relief.

Sometimes that shows up as food choices we hadn’t planned.

And when that happens, the brain jumps to the classic thought:

“Well… I’ve ruined it now.”

So one choice becomes the day.
The day becomes the weekend.
And the weekend becomes…

“I’ll start again Monday.”

That’s the all-or-nothing thinking pattern.

The good news is, once you recognise that pattern, you can start to change it.

In the next video I’ll show you the simple shift that helps people break the stop–start cycle.

Make sure you follow so you don’t miss it.

𝗛𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀?
“I’ll start again on Monday.”

You have a good week.
Then something slips.

Maybe a meal out.
Maybe a few snacks you hadn’t planned.

And suddenly it feels like everything is ruined. 🤯

So Monday becomes the restart.

But the real problem isn’t the weekend.

It’s the stop–start cycle.

And that cycle makes consistency feel impossible.

Over the next few videos I’m going to share some simple insights and the same guidance I use with my coaching clients to help people step out of this pattern and start building real consistency.

If this resonates, make sure you follow so you don’t miss the next video. 😉
