It’s with great sadness that today we will be saying goodbye to one of our longest serving members of staff, Simon Lawrence.
Simon has been a valued member of the team for the past 17 years, enrolling into the business as one of our funeral operatives, progressing into the role of funeral conductor and arranger, serving families across our whole community in every aspect of the funeral process.
Simon has undertaken many responsibilities and proactively sought new opportunities for Stibbards, being the coordinator of our Annual Charity Golf Day, while participating in and leading many other charity events over the years.
Simon has also brought a wealth of knowledge to Stibbards from successfully attaining his Diploma in Funeral Directing in 2024.
Simon will be joining the National Association of Funeral Directors as their Standards and Quality Inspector in the South East, ensuring all members uphold the necessary standards and comply to regulations as part of the NAFD Code of Practice.
From everyone here at Stibbards, we truly wish Simon the very best of luck in the continuation of his career in the funeral profession, and we thank him for every contribution made to the business.
