fairies are the Apple Blossom Fairies from Alphabet
Fairies 🌼🍃

Up in the tree we see you, blossom-babies,
All pink and white;
We think there must be fairies to protect you
From frost and blight,
Until, some windy day, in drifts of petals,
You take your flight.

You’ll fly away! But if we wait with patience,
Some day we’ll find
Here, in your place, full-grown and ripe, the apples
You left behind –
A goodly gift indeed, from blossom-babies
To human-kind!

“Along Life’s Path”

The little cat had been here many times before, wondering what lay ahead and wondering if he had the strength to keep going. Fears and worries, failures and the past would often stop him from taking the next step—although his heart longed to find out what lay around the corner and beyond.

He sat quietly, closed his eyes and soaked in everything around him. He heard the sweet shrill of the songbird yonder, the whispers of the wind swirling through the trees, and he breathed in the sweet aroma of lavender and pink rose.

Then it dawned on him. All of nature didn’t seem to have a care about tomorrow. And, since the same hand that painted the spring skies a cornflower blue and the tulips a crimson hue had also made him too, he shouldn’t be worrying either, for he was also part of the creators' majestic plan. The little cat knew there might be a muddy puddle to jump over or a rocky hill to climb, but he suddenly felt brave enough to take the next step. And, so he did.

With his head held high and his tail in the air, he smiled as he trotted down the path. He knew Spring was painted in his heart, the hope of Spring would hold his hand along life’s path, and no matter what lay ahead, he was confident that Spring would follow him around that corner and forever beyond.
