Ventures, please take note of this very sad news, sent to be put on this page:
"My Mum’s name is Janet Parkin (was Wright).
She was a primary school teacher for many many years at South Cave Primary School in East Yorkshire (1977 - 2008) and then shortly after retiring (the first time!), worked at King Edward’s Primary School in Thorne, South Yorkshire (2009 - 2012).
I am extremely proud to call her my Mum. The sad news is, after battling bowel cancer last year and having major surgery, the cancer has now returned and they cannot treat it. I am telling this tale, as I want to ask anyone who my Mum taught at South Cave Primary or King Edward’s to get in touch with any stories, memories, photos or lovely moments they have, so that we might add a little light to her journey ahead and celebrate the times she thinks of so fondly.

I personally have lovely memories of Janet & Stan and they selflessly gave their time to look after us lot.
Please make the effort to e-mail Nicola. I'm not quite sure how up to date this information is.
