In Loving Memory of McKenzie Cutts

McKenzie, of Park Estate in South Kirkby, sadly passed away peacefully at Pinderfields Hospital on Monday 1st December, aged just 20 years.

A cherished son of Zoey and Kyle. Beloved grandson of Dorothy and Jeanette. Adored brother of Ebany, Dylan, Kye, Oscar and Faith. And a much loved nephew of Stuart, Craig and Claire. He will be hugely missed by all of his family and friends.

McKenzie’s funeral service will take place at Pontefract Crematorium on Monday 22nd December at 11am.

Family flowers only please. Donations to the Critical Care Unit at Pinderfields, in recognition of the amazing service they offered to McKenzie and his family, are welcome in lieu of flowers. A collection box will be available at the exit of the crematorium chapel after the service.

Jean, resident of Castleford Lodge Care Home, passed away peacefully on Wednesday 26th November, aged 85.

A cherished mum of Paul, Mark and Lorraine. And beloved nana of Steven, Melissa, Amy, Tom and Emma. Loved and adored by all, she will be missed dearly.

Jean’s funeral service will take place on Tuesday 16th December at Pontefract Crematorium at 11am.

Family flowers only please. Donations to Dementia UK are welcome in lieu of flowers. A collection box will be available after the service at the exit of the crematorium chapel.

Hazel, resident of Hemsworth Park Care Home, passed away peacefully on Saturday 22nd November, aged 81.

A much loved wife of Ron. Cherished mam of Richard and Caroline and mother in law of Mandy and Sue. Step mam of Sharon. Beloved grandma of Jessica, Emily, Georgia and Charlotte, and great grandma of Billie and Oliver. And a great friend of Betty. She will be missed dearly by all who knew her.

Hazel’s funeral service will take place at Pontefract Crematorium on Wednesday 17th December at 12.20pm.

Family flowers only please. Donations to the Alzheimer’s Society are respectfully requested in lieu of flowers. A collection box will be available outside the crematorium after the service.

Following the service a warm invite is extended to all who had the privilege of knowing Hazel, to join her family at the King’s Croft in Pontefract where refreshments will be available.

Stuart, of Tan House Lane in Ackworth, passed away peacefully at home on Friday 31st October, aged 74.

A devoted husband of Jacky. Much loved dad of Tom. Cherished grandad of Charlie. And dear brother of Denise and Robert. He will be missed dearly by all who knew him.

Stuart’s funeral service will take place at Pontefract Crematorium on Friday 5th December at 1pm.

Following the funeral service Jacky and Tom would like to invite all who knew Stuart to join them in raising a glass to him at The Masons Arms in Ackworth.

In Loving Memory of Neil Storey

Neil, of Third Avenue in Upton, passed away unexpectedly at home on Sunday 9th November, aged 62.

Son of the late Janet and George. A much loved husband of Joy. Devoted dad of Danielle and Charlotte. And, loving grandad of Isabella and Tommy. Also, a dear brother, brother in law and son in law. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Neil’s funeral service will take place at Pontefract Crematorium on Thursday 4th December at 11.40am.

Family flowers only please. Donations to the National Rheumatoid Arthritis Society are welcome in lieu of flowers. A donation box will be placed by the exit of the crematorium chapel after the service.

Attendees are not required to wear black and are invited to celebrate Neil’s life in whatever attire they feel comfortable in.

Following the service, Joy and her family would like to invite all who knew Neil to raise a glass in his memory at The Upton Arms.

David, of Westfield Lane in South Elmsall, sadly passed away at Pinderfields Hospital on Sunday 2nd November, aged 72.

A cherished dad of Adam, Steven, Dannii and Gemma. Beloved grandad of Caitlin, Thomas, Luca, Kallie, Lyla and Nate. And a much loved brother of Alan, Patsy and Diane. Loved by many, he will be dearly missed.

David’s funeral service will take place at St Luke’s Church on Wednesday 26th November at 12pm. Followed by the burial at Carr Lane Cemetery.

Donations to Diabetes UK are respectfully requested in David’s memory. A collection box will be available at the exit of the church after the service.

Following the service, David’s children invite all who knew him to join them at The Junction where refreshments will be available.

Andrew, of Princess Avenue, sadly passed away at the Prince of Wales Hospice on Tuesday 11th November, aged 63.

A much loved son of the late Harry and the late Margaret. Cherished brother of Susan, Carol, Janet, Lesley, Adrian, Sharon, Paul and the late Steven. Brother in law of Neil, Barry, Gary, Jane, Karen and the late John. Also, a dear uncle of Mick, Joanne, Josie, Trevor, Jonathan, Darren, Matthew, Maxine, Debbie, Amy, Luke, Ellie and Libby, and great uncle to 16 nephews and nieces.

Andrew’s funeral service will take place at Pontefract Crematorium on Wednesday 3rd December at 11am.

Family flowers only please. Donations to the Prince of Wales Hospice are respectfully requested in lieu of flowers. A collection box will be placed outside the crematorium chapel after the service.

Following the service there will be a private gathering for Andrew’s immediate family.

Carole, of Second Avenue in South Kirkby, passed away peacefully with her family by her side at The Prince of Wales Hospice on Wednesday 12th November, aged 77.

A devoted wife of the late Jim. Treasured mum of the late Karen and the late David. Much loved
Nanan of Jordan, Lewis, Robbie and Taylor, and Great nanan (Granny) of Jaxon and Jimmy. Also a dear sister and sister in law of
Alan and the late Sandra, Val and Colin, Sue and Kev, and Maureen. Loved and adored by all she will dearly missed.

Carole’s funeral service will take place at All Saints Church, South Kirkby, on Tuesday 2nd December at 10.30am. Followed by the burial at Carr Lane Cemetery.

Family request attendees to wear something purple for the service if possible as this was Carole’s favourite colour.

Family flowers only please. Donations to the Prince of Wales Hospice are welcome in lieu of flowers. A collection box will be placed at the exit of the church after the service.

Son of the late Nora and Geoff, and son in law of the late Noreen and Den. Devoted husband of Jay. Cherished dad of Lee, Jon, Steven, Jack and Chelsea. Adored grandad of his 8 beautiful grandchildren. Also a much loved brother, father in law and brother in law who will be missed by all who knew him.

Jeff’s funeral service will take place at Pontefract Crematorium on Wednesday 26th November at 9.40am.

Carole, passed away peacefully at Pinderfields hospital on Saturday 25th October, aged 84. Devoted Wife to the Late Sam, Loving Mam of Ian and Lee, Adored Sister of Late Betty, Cherished Nanna to Hayley, Laura and Zoe. Carole was loved by many and will be missed by all.

Carole’s funeral service will take place at Pontefract Crematorium on Friday 28th November at 1pm. The family respectfully request formal dress code and family flowers only please. Donations to Stroke association and Prince of wales hospice are welcome in lieu of flowers. A collection box will be available after the service.

Following the service, all who knew Carole are invited to join her family at the South Kirkby Cricket club to share memories and refreshments
