Look What Our Residents Created! 🎃
​We're so proud of the amazing effort and creativity shown during our recent pumpkin carving session! Our residents had a fantastic time turning simple gourds into these incredible Halloween masterpieces.
​From a toothy, monstrous grin to a majestic crowned pumpkin, every one of these creations shows off the talent and fun spirit here at Eastleigh Care Home.

​A small but mighty team of our Eastleigh Care Home residents rolled up their sleeves today for some spooky sweet-making!
​They worked together brilliantly to create these adorable Rice Krispies treats, topping them with ghostly marshmallows. This creative activity was a wonderful way for the residents to collaborate, share stories, and get into the Halloween spirit together.
​The final result is absolutely fabulous—and delicious! Well done to our talented bakers for helping decorate the home (and our stomachs!) for the holiday. 🧡🖤

Today we’ve been getting into the Halloween spirit here at Eastleigh! 🕸️ Our residents had a fantastic time making their own spooky decorations — from friendly ghosts to colourful pumpkins — while the team worked together to give our reception area a festive makeover. 🧡

It's Karaoke Time at Eastleigh! 🎶
​We traded our teacups for microphones today and let the good times roll! From Frank Sinatra to The Beatles, our residents brought the house down with some serious vocal talent (and a lot of laughs!).
​Music truly is the best therapy, and it was wonderful to see everyone tapping their toes and joining in on the choruses. Who knew we had so many secret superstars? ⭐

Creativity is blooming here at Eastleigh Care Home! 🎨
​Our residents recently found their artistic "mojo" with the wonderful Sandra, who guided them through a heartwarming and meaningful art session. They created stunning posters featuring poppies, the beautiful symbol of remembrance and hope.
​As you can see, the results are incredible! The joy of creation and the beauty of their finished work prove that it's never too late for art and fun. We are so proud of the talent within our home! 💜

It was a WILD day at Eastleigh Care Home today! 🐍🕷️ We were thrilled to welcome the fantastic team from Exmoor Zoo for a very special visit.
​Our residents got up close and personal with some fascinating creatures, including a slithery Royal Python and an impressive Praying Mantis! The zookeepers brought the animals right to each floor, giving everyone a safe chance to learn about and even gently touch these amazing visitors.
​The joy, curiosity, and fantastic stories the animals sparked were truly heartwarming. Thank you, Exmoor Zoo, for bringing the wonder of wildlife to our home!

We had such a lovely visit from Rad the PAT dog today! 🐶💛
Our residents absolutely loved spending time with him — there were plenty of cuddles, smiles, and even a few treats shared!

It’s amazing how much joy and comfort our furry visitors bring. Thank you, Rad, for brightening everyone’s day — we can’t wait to see you again soon! 🐾✨

​What a fantastic Thursday morning our residents at Raleigh Mead had today! 🎉
​We were treated to a beautiful live performance of 'Strictly at Home' thanks to the wonderful folks at Mini Concerts. The music was beautiful and brought so many smiles and happy feet!
