Music has a magical way of brightening the day! 🎶✨ We had a lovely visit today from Stephanie, who shared her beautiful flute music with us. Not only did she perform for the group, but she also took the time to visit residents in their rooms for private, one-on-one performances. It was a truly calming and joyful experience for everyone at Eastleigh.

We had a very special visitor at Eastleigh today! 🐾 Ralph, our wonderful PAT dog, dropped by to spread some Christmas cheer. One of our lovely residents even had a special Christmas present waiting for him! 🎁 It’s safe to say Ralph’s tail hasn’t stopped wagging. There is nothing like a furry friend to make the season bright. 🎄✨

✨ A Lovely Day Out at St John’s Garden Centre ✨

Our residents at Eastleigh Care Home enjoyed a wonderful trip to St John’s Garden Centre, soaking up the festive atmosphere and beautiful surroundings.

From enjoying a cosy cup of tea and cake ☕🍰 to admiring the magical Christmas displays 🎅🎄, there were plenty of smiles and special moments shared throughout the day.

Outings like these are a lovely way to make memories, enjoy the season, and spend quality time together. A big thank you to Terri and Davina for making the trip so enjoyable 💚

🌟 Double Dose of Festive Joy! 🎄🎶
What an absolutely heartwarming and busy day we've had here at Eastleigh Care Home!
This morning, our residents were delighted by a visit from the local Primary School children! Their enthusiastic singing filled the home with Christmas spirit and brought huge smiles to everyone's faces. It's always a highlight when the younger generation visits us!
In the afternoon, we held a beautiful Christmas Carol Service. The residents enjoyed traditional singing alongside meaningful Bible readings, reflecting on the true spirit of the season. 🙏
Thank you to everyone who made today so special—from the wonderful children and teachers to all who participated in our service. Days like this truly feel like Christmas!

💃 Chair Zumba Fun with Roberto! 🎄✨
The Christmas cheer continues at Eastleigh Care Home with a fantastic session of Golden Zumba Chair Exercises led by the brilliant Roberto! 🤩
As you can see, our residents were full of smiles and energy, keeping fit while having an absolute blast! The music was pumping, and Roberto made sure everyone was involved in the fun, even with a little festive dancing!
Keeping active and enjoying fun community activities like this is so important to us.

🎺🎶 Christmas Cheer at Eastleigh Care Home! 🎄✨
We had a truly fantastic visit today from the wonderful South Molton Town Band! 🎵 They filled our lounge with the joyous sounds of Christmas music, and it was a treat for all our residents and staff.
Everyone loved singing along to the carols with the help of their 'New Christmas Praise' songbooks, and the atmosphere was full of festive spirit.
Of course, no Christmas celebration is complete without some treats! We enjoyed delicious mince pies and cream during the interval. 🥧😋
A huge thank you to the South Molton Town Band for sharing their talent with us and making it such a special afternoon!

🐾 Ralph the PAT Dog Came to Visit! 🐾

Our residents had a wonderful surprise today as Ralph, our adorable PAT (Pets As Therapy) dog, came in for a visit!
He brought so many smiles, tail wags, and moments of pure joy. ❤️

It was lovely to see how much comfort and happiness he brought to everyone — especially during these colder days.
Thank you, Ralph, for brightening up our afternoon! 🐶✨

A Delightful Day Out! 🎄
Yesterday, some of our residents enjoyed a wonderful Christmas lunch outing at the Merry Harriers! 🍽️
They had a truly lovely meal, right down to the dessert. In fact, the pudding was so generous and delicious that they simply couldn't finish it all—so we've brought the leftovers back to Eastleigh to enjoy later! 😋
It was a day filled with festive cheer, good food, and great company.

🎨 Creative Christmas Crafting!
Look at all this talent! 😍
Our residents had a wonderful and creative afternoon, making some festive Christmas table decorations with the brilliant Sandra from Creative Mojo!
It was a joy to see everyone focused, painting beautiful reindeer, designing unique centerpieces, and getting into the holiday spirit. These sessions always bring so much fun, focus, and a great sense of accomplishment.

What a treat! We took a trip out today for a fantastic Christmas lunch, and the joy was doubled because we shared the meal with our friends from East Street Residential Home ! 🎁 It was wonderful to see everyone catching up, laughing, and enjoying some delicious food together. Days like these are what the holiday season is all about!

What a show! 🎤 We had a fantastic time enjoying the "Countdown to Christmas" show performed by Mini Concerts today! 🎶
Our residents and guests loved hearing some of the greatest festive hits of all time and getting into the Christmas spirit! Thank you to Mini Concerts for the wonderful afternoon of feel-good music!
