So after a few weeks off after a break due to the heatwave we welcomed back our favorite visitor to the ward! Brodie (and Tess of course 😊). Brodie had lots of cuddles from both patients and staff. We love you Brodie ❤️ and thank you for making our Thursday so much better.

This is a plea! We would welcome any unwanted gifts or items you may have at home suitable for our stroke coffee morning raffles. All money raised from the raffle go back into the funds.

Yesterday we walked to remember our beautiful friend and colleague, Nikaela. The walk, led by Nik’s dad Deon took us from Martock through Madey Mill and all the way to the nature reserve at Cartgate. We learnt lots of history on Martock and we saw slow worms, grass snakes, butterflies and beautiful dragonflies. The weather was perfect as the sun took some well earned rest behind the clouds.
Finished off with some homemade cake and a cup of tea. Such a lovely day. ❤️ There will hopefully be more walks organised in the future.

Whether it’s fixing, cleaning, maintaining, or planning—they do it all, and they do it with true Wild West grit. 🔧🧹🏗️
