🎨 Weekly art & craft sessions 🖌️🐦

Some of our residents recently requested a regular art and craft activity – and we were happy to make it happen! Now, every week we enjoy creative sessions together, from beautiful bird watercolour paintings to other colourful projects.

It’s a lovely way to relax, chat, and let our creativity shine. 💛

🍓🍍☀️ Nothing beats a refreshing fruit salad in this heat! Our residents had a wonderful time creating these colourful treats, packed with juicy, high-water-content fruits to help keep everyone hydrated and cool. Healthy, delicious, and perfect for summer! 🥝🍉🍊

We ended the week in style with a wine and cheese tasting for our residents – a perfect mix of delicious flavours, great company, and plenty of chatter.

We had a wonderfully creative day filled with colour, scent, and smiles as residents enjoyed cupcake decorating and flower arranging! 🌸🧁

From beautifully piped icing and sprinkles to stunning floral displays, everyone got to showcase their artistic side and, enjoy a few sweet treats along the way! 🎨🌷🍰

These hands-on activities not only sparked creativity, but also brought joy, laughter, and a lovely sense of accomplishment to all involved. 🤩 👏

We were treated to a wonderful performance by our local hand bell ringers, and what a joy it was! The beautiful melodies and gentle chimes filled our home with music and smiles. 🎶

Our residents thoroughly enjoyed the performance, tapping along and reminiscing about familiar tunes. It was a lovely way to spend the afternoon, peaceful, uplifting, and full of community spirit. 💛

A big thank you to the talented group for sharing their time and music with us, we can’t wait to welcome you back again soon! 😍

We’ve had a fantastic time recently enjoying a mix of active, creative, and calming activities! 🤩

💪 First up, a friendly Volleyball Match: Residents vs. Staff! It was full of laughs, team spirit, and a few surprise moves! Everyone had a great time getting involved and cheering each other on.

🖐️ Then we got hands-on with sensory dough crafts, made extra special with added essential oils for a soothing and engaging experience. The calming scents made it even more enjoyable and therapeutic.

📖 To wind down, we headed out to our Book Corner on the patio, where residents enjoyed some quiet reading time paired with a refreshing flavoured water tasting session, a perfect way to relax and hydrate in the sunshine!

We recently celebrated a beautiful baby shower for Ella, and what a joyful occasion it was! Planning started a little while ago with a fun shopping trip to get everything just right. 🛍️🎁

The day was filled with laughter, games, and love, from guessing the size of the baby bump, to sharing baby name suggestions, and making our predictions on due dates and weights. 🎯🍼📅

We enjoyed delicious cakes, thoughtful gifts, and most importantly, some truly special moments together. A huge congratulations to Ella, we can’t wait to meet the newest addition soon! 💖👣

We’ve been moving, grooving, and getting our heart rates soaring! From energising ball games that brought out our playful sides, to flexercise sessions that got us stretching, smiling, and strengthening. Every moment was a step toward feeling great. 💪🏐🧘‍♀️

Staying active isn’t just about fitness, it’s about fun, connection, and that feel good glow you carry with you long after. Whether we were chasing a ball or striking a pose, we did it together… and we felt fantastic doing it! 🤩

We got full-on crafty and colourful, from delicate flower crafts and fluttery butterfly creations to a magical session of mermaid painting, with a splash of prosecco, of course! 🧜‍♀️🍾

Our inner scientists also had their moment with rainbow experiments that dazzled the eyes and sparked curiosity. 🌈🔬 And who knew potato printing could be such a hit? Stamps, splodges, and smiles all around! 🥔🎨

Art, laughs, and glitter in places we’re still finding... just the way we like it. ✨
