I’m Clare, a highly qualified holistic therapist, workshop leader, and circle host with a rich background in health and nursing. My journey has taken me across the globe—from the UK and USA to Australia and Africa—where I’ve supported women, children, and families through various life transitions. My passion lies in empowering others to embrace positive life changes while navigating challenges with grace and resilience. I have over 25 years experience as a Nurse and Health Visitor. I enjoy working with people of all ages and stages of the life span.I believe a holistic approach to health and well-being can help you to to maintain a positive frame of mind and help you cope with life's difficulties. Vaccination & Treatment Policy 💚

For the safety and wellbeing of all clients, I kindly ask that you allow 48–72 hours after any vaccination before attending a treatment.

Why this matters:
•After a vaccination, your immune system is actively responding and recalibrating

•Common post-vaccine responses (such as fatigue, headache, fever, muscle aches or swollen glands) can be intensified by hands-on or energetic treatments

•Holistic therapies support balance and regulation, and it’s best to allow your body time to process the vaccine without additional stimulation

•This pause helps ensure you receive the most benefit from your treatment while supporting your body’s natural healing process

I’m still feeling the glow from yesterday’s Gua Sha workshop ✨

It was such a lovely few hours of connection, learning, slowing down and nurturing ourselves. Watching everyone leave looking brighter, softer and more relaxed is always a reminder of how powerful simple, intentional practices can be.

Gua Sha is a beautiful self-care ritual that supports circulation, lymphatic drainage and deep relaxation — but just as importantly, it invites us to pause and tend to ourselves with kindness 🌿

Thank you to everyone who came along and shared the space.

I wrote this a couple of years ago, and it feels just as true now…

KINTSUGI - “to mend with gold”

It is a reminder to stay optimistic when things fall apart and to accept painful experiences and difficulties in life.

Nothing and no one is perfect. Allow scars and imperfections to be seen, not hidden, for once healed they make us stronger and more beautiful.

Remember the process of Kintsugi unites the past with the future and it brings the broken pieces to form into a new more valuable whole.

The past six months of 2025 have taken me into deep inner territory. The kind of work that doesn’t show on the surface but quietly reshapes everything beneath it.

I’ve been meeting my own shadow - allowing space for grief, for honest reflection, for the discomfort that comes with making big life choices and setting healthier boundaries. Not the polished version of healing, but the real, human kind. The kind that asks you to slow down, listen inwardly, and choose yourself even when it feels challenging.

This personal work is inseparable from the work I do with others. I believe that the more willing we are to face our own inner landscape, the more present, compassionate, and attuned we become as therapists. Supporting myself through this period has deepened my capacity to hold space — without fixing, rushing, or bypassing what needs to be felt.

Often clients arrive wanting peace, calm and clarity, empowerment begins with space to reflect, acknowledging what’s been buried or pushed aside. There is strength in that process. There is wisdom in honouring where you are rather than where you think you should be.

This recent chapter has reminded me that healing is not about perfection. It’s about relationship - with ourselves, our boundaries, our truth. And when we do this work honestly, it naturally ripples outward into how we support others.

Clare’s Story

My name is Clare Arnold and I set up Clare Arnold Therapies in 2017 in order to follow my passion for Holistic Complementary Therapies and to work more flexibly around childcare for my gorgeous wee boy. I first tried Complementary therapies when I experienced a very traumatic bereavement, it helped me to get through the depths of grief and become happy and whole again, along with the support of my GP, family and friends, yoga and running. I have since used Complementary Therapies to maintain my well-being, help me through conception and pregnancy, to relax and unwind from a stressful work environment or to simply enjoy a treat and time to myself and to age naturally well. I love being able to help others feel relaxed, re-energised and re-balanced and to look and feel their best. I initially trained in Complementary Therapies to satisfy my curiosity and see if it would help friends and family. Now it’s my passion, I see the holistic benefits the therapies bring to people - physically, emotionally, mentally, spiritually.
