What is Jungian Coaching?
It is a developmental process that combines the principles of coaching with depth psychology and the theory of Carl Gustav Jung. It’s both conscious and intellectual work with deep emotional experience and contact with the unconscious. In my practice I specialise in: career change, work burnout, stage fright, blocked creativity, work conflicts, procrastination, self-sabotaging success, finding purpose and meaning in the second part of life and menopause coaching. My work with clients is regularly supervised.
What makes Jungian coaching different from other coaching?
Most coaching approaches relay only on thinking and what you know consciously. Jungian coaching draws both from your conscious and rational level and the unconscious, and emotional level. It is a holistic approach to the issues and challenges presented by a client. You will be surprised how powerful and supportive your unconscious is, once you learn how to harness its potential.
What a 1:1 Jungian coaching session looks like?
1️⃣ Safe space and trust building: To begin with, we create a space together where you feel comfortable and safe. A place where you can be yourself, without fear or judgement.
2️⃣ Your personal story: We focus on your personal history, your issues and challenges as well as on your dreams and patterns to find answers to the questions that bother you most.
3️⃣ Archetypes: Together we dive into the world of archetypes, including Anima and Animus, to see which ones need to be strengthened and which ones need to be weakened so that you can achieve your goal.
4️⃣ Jungian methods: such as visualisations, drawing, symbol dialogue or shadow work to assist you in deep transformation.
5️⃣ Designing action-plan: After understanding yourself and your inner self, we focus on what you want to achieve in the future and how to do it. Together, we create a realistic action plan.
