I’m really pleased to share that my antenatal classes are now open 🤍

These sessions have been thoughtfully designed to support expectant parents in a way that feels calm, reassuring and genuinely helpful.

Led by a qualified health visitor and FEDANT accredited practitioner, the classes are grounded in evidence-based guidance and professional experience, alongside a strong focus on emotional wellbeing and practical preparation. Each class will end with pregnancy relaxation and reiki.

Sessions are intentionally kept small to create a supportive and inclusive environment, with space to ask questions, build confidence and feel truly listened to.

They take place in a modern, welcoming venue in Rosyth, designed to feel calm and comfortable from the moment you arrive.

If you’re looking for antenatal support that feels clear, supportive and grounded in professional experience, please get in touch for more information or to book a space 🤍

Pregnancy can come with a lot of information, and not all of it feels helpful.

Many parents tell me they feel overwhelmed, unsure who to trust, or worried about whether they’re preparing “properly”.

This is exactly why I’ve been creating something new.

Antenatal support that focuses on:
• Clear, evidence-based information
• Emotional reassurance
• Preparation for both birth and the early postnatal weeks

Support that feels calm, not overwhelming.

Something new is coming 🤍

Over the past few months, I’ve been quietly creating something designed to support expectant parents in a way that feels calm, reassuring and genuinely helpful.

A space for clear information.
A space to ask questions.
A space to feel more prepared.

I’ll be sharing more very soon.

Mother’s Day 🤍

Today can hold many different emotions.

For those preparing to become mothers.
For those celebrating their very first Mother’s Day with a new baby.
And for those quietly adjusting to the many changes that come with early parenthood.

Becoming a mother is a profound life transition. It can be joyful, emotional, overwhelming and deeply meaningful, often all at the same time.

However today feels for you, I hope you are able to recognise the strength, care and love that you bring to this role every day.

Motherhood is a journey, and none of us are meant to navigate it entirely alone.

Wishing a gentle and supported Mother’s Day to all who are on this path 🤍

A gentle reminder today 🤍

You don’t have to have everything figured out during pregnancy.

It’s normal to have questions.
It’s normal to feel unsure at times.
And it’s completely okay to ask for support along the way.

Preparing for your baby isn’t about perfection.
It’s about feeling informed, reassured and supported.

International Women’s Day 🤍

Today I’m thinking about the quiet strength of pregnant women and new mothers.

The strength it takes to grow a baby.
To navigate the unknowns of pregnancy.
To give birth.
And then to step into the completely new world of caring for a tiny human who depends on you for everything.

So much of this work happens behind closed doors.

The interrupted nights.
The constant decisions.
The emotional adjustments that come with becoming a parent.

It’s powerful, life-changing work, even when it doesn’t always feel that way in the moment.

To anyone who is currently pregnant or adjusting to life with a new baby, your strength, care and resilience deserve to be recognised too.

You deserve support, understanding and kindness as you move through this stage of life.

Happy International Women’s Day 🤍

Supporting women through pregnancy and early parenthood is something I feel incredibly privileged to do in my work.

Becoming a parent is a significant life transition.

Even though parenting is often described as “natural”, that does not mean it always feels easy. Every parent arrives at this stage with their own experiences, expectations and emotions, and the adjustment can be bigger than many people anticipate.

It is also common to feel pressure to enjoy every moment. In reality, caring for a new baby can be physically and emotionally demanding. Interrupted sleep, constant responsibility and the intensity of early parenthood can feel overwhelming at times.

Feeling this way does not mean you are doing anything wrong.

Support and reassurance can make a real difference during this transition. None of us are meant to navigate these changes entirely on our own.

If you feel that additional support would be helpful as you adjust to parenthood, you are very welcome to get in touch. In my work as a mental health nurse and health visitor, I have supported many families through this period of change, helping parents feel understood, reassured and more confident.

Adding to my toolkit of resources for my antenatal and postnatal classes.

I’ve used the Kid Affirmation Cards with my son and knew I wanted to get the expectant and new parent editions for classes.

My classes are about supporting every part of you, not just telling you about birth.

If this is the type of support you’ve been looking for, please get in touch 🤍

How do you know if you’re preparing properly for birth?

It’s common to wonder whether you’re doing enough or making the right choices. With so much advice available, it can feel difficult to measure what “prepared” even means.
Through supporting families, I’ve seen that preparation is not about perfection. It’s about understanding your options and feeling informed enough to make decisions that feel right for you.
Preparation should build confidence, not create pressure.

Support is available if you’d find it helpful.

Is it normal to feel anxious during pregnancy?

Many expectant parents experience moments of worry, especially when navigating new information and preparing for such a significant life change. Hormonal shifts and uncertainty can heighten those feelings.
In my work as a health visitor, I see how common this is. Feeling anxious does not mean you’re doing anything wrong. It often reflects how deeply you care about your baby and your preparation.
Clear, evidence-based antenatal support can help reduce uncertainty and build confidence gradually.

Feel free to message me if you’d like to know more 🤍

The postnatal period can bring many changes. Antenatal preparation can help parents feel more confident and supported during those early weeks, both practically and emotionally.

That’s why our classes also cover what happens when baby is here!
