Thank you for hosting such an engaging CPD evening with Mr. Scott Middleton, Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon from Spire Healthcare. It was a great opportunity to expand our clinical knowledge and we look forward to applying it directly to our clinical practice.

We were also delighted to have our newest team member, Matilda (Podiatrist), join us to meet the rest of the team before her official start date. More details coming soon!

Staff training session.

Last night we had the pleasure of welcoming Mr Scott Middleton, Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon from .healthcare who specialises in Foot and Ankle Surgery to talk to our Physiotherapy team and our Podiatrists from on all things related to the rehabilitation and treatment of the foot and ankle.

He shared the latest treatment options for many conditions and discussed those patients that would benefit from surgery and those that require rehabilitation.

This was a hugely informative evening and we extend a massive thank you to him for sharing his expertise with us .
Also thanks to Joanna from .healthcare for facilitating this training. We can now add this knowledge to our treatment and rehabilitation of our patients.

Absolutely delighted to be supporting the new Queensferry Rugby Club. We will be offering discounts to club members that need treatment. The club is for all genders over 18 and is at Queensferry Sports and Community Hub every Tuesday night 6:30-8pm. It’s open to all skill levels.

Alison joined Queensferry Podiatry last year and has fast become a popular podiatrist and member of our team. We thought you would like to know a little bit more about her. 👣 👣 👣

Alison graduated with a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in Podiatry from Glasgow Caledonian University in 2024. She brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her role, honed through her extensive experience working within NHS community healthcare settings.
Her commitment to patient care is rooted in her diverse professional background, having also worked as a nurse in both NHS and private practice environments before transitioning into podiatry.
Throughout her career, Alison has demonstrated a passion for delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. Her holistic approach ensures that every individual receives tailored treatment to meet their specific needs, whether addressing common foot health issues or managing complex podiatric conditions.
Beyond her professional life, Alison is an avid traveller, always eager to explore new destinations and cultures. When at home, she finds joy in walking her beloved dog and taking in the natural beauty of the countryside.
