Saturday 4th of February is the true astronomical Imbolg cross quarter celebration day, the half way point between winter solstice and the spring equinox. St Bridgets day (1st Feb) is the Christian celebration of St Bridget. Imbolg is the celebration of the sacred feminine, rebirth, growth etc, celebrating the Goddess Bridget. Important not to be mixing it up. Brigid is the ancient Goddess that pre-dates the arrival of the Celts by millennia :-) Happy St Brigids day & Imbolg to one and all :-)
