Congrats to all of the Great North Run runners who took part in today's race! 👏

If you're feeling poorly, this is when to call 111 or, in an emergency, 999:

- You develop chest pain or feel very unwell
- You suffer from fainting or loss of consciousness
- You have not passed normal urine within 6 hours of the end of the run
- You have severe muscle pains that are not controlled with oral painkillers

If it isn't urgent, use 111 online 👉 www.111.nhs.uk

You may have seen information in the media that weight loss injections will be available in GP surgeries to patients who meet very strict criteria (see image ⬇️).
West View Surgery is not currently able to prescribe this treatment as we are awaiting further guidance on the implementation of this service. We will keep you updated.
