The people who you surround yourself with says a lot about you!

Strong minds discuss ideas, how to build on things, how to grow and also support each other and pick each other up when motivation is required!

Average minds discuss events, what’s happened, what is happening, but they never look for the lessons in those events or the opportunities those events present for growth and wisdom!

Weak minds discuss people, they gossip about others, pull others down and belittle them or build hate campaigns against them, this is often because someone stood up to one of them or witnessed their true colours so they want to turn others against them. It could also be jealousy or because they see them as a threat to themselves or a number of other reasons!

Strong minds don’t worry about events that have nothing to do with them or are out of their control, they don’t talk about others or have to know what’s going on in everyone else’s lives because they’re busy working on achieving their goals and becoming a success in life!

Who you surround yourself with in life has a big effect on your life, if you choose to be a strong minded individual and surround yourself with other strong minded individuals then you are setting yourself and your circle up to succeed because you discuss ideas, share wisdom and have each others backs when one of you is struggling to overcome a certain problem!

Strong minds build strong individuals and lead to success, take a look at yourself and those you associate with and ask yourself are you surrounded by strong minded people who want to succeed at life or do you need to part ways with certain weak minded people who will only hold you back in life?

Another thing to remember about weak minded people is that if they’re discussing others with you then they will be discussing you with others, do you really want to be around people like that in life?

It’s all about having the right mindset and strong minds create strong individuals! ❤️

For many people the hardest part of growing as an individual is saying goodbye!

We often hear people say they shouldn’t have ignored the red flags when someone reveals their true colours to them, many of us see the red flags in others but choose to ignore them for many reasons but we should also be looking for the green flags in people too, the green flags that show us they’re genuine, true, have our backs and only want the best for us!

As we grow in life we outgrow those who’re wanting to hold us back, that doesn’t always mean these people are bad people, it could just mean they’re on a different path to us in life’s journey!

Many people for one reason or another are afraid to let people go, it could be for any reason and we now have generations who’re afraid to lose “friends” or “followers” on social media and that’s somehow spilled over into acquaintances in real life too when often they hardly know these people on a personal level!

Never be afraid to let people go who’re holding you back in life, pulling you down, treating you bad, hurting yourself or others or generally being negative all the time. Also let the ones go who’re always pulling others down to you behind their backs because if they’re saying bad things about others to you then they’ll also be saying bad things about you to others!

Once you let the wrong people in your life and be just your true genuine self then you start to attract the right people into you life, the good people who like you for you and want the best for you!

Once you see the red flags in the wrong people and let them go it can be hard to let others into your life, but it doesn’t have to be, look for the green flags and act accordingly, once you’re surrounded by the right people life gets a lot better!

We’ve all heard the following saying;

“You are the CEO of your own life.
Hire, fire and
promote accordingly”

This isn’t just a saying, this is a rule for who you should allow into your life and who you shouldn’t allow in your life and one way to follow this rule is to use the green flags you see in people as well as the red flags!

Never be afraid to say goodbye to the wrong people and never be afraid to say hello to the right people and welcome them into your life! 🟥❤️🟩

We are not going to succeed at anything unless we take that first step!

It doesn’t matter how simple or how hard we believe something is going to be, we can only achieve our goals by actively doing what needs to be done and the most important step to take on that journey is the first step because until we take that first step we aren’t going to achieve anything!

Once we do take that first step then it’s just a case of taking one step at a time, it may seem hard or a little bit scary sometimes but as long as we keep taking steps on that journey, no matter how small, we will reach our destination and achieve our goals so long as we don’t give up and we keep taking those steps!

We come across obstacles on our way but so long as we work our way through those obstacles and learn from them then each step is still a step in the right direction!

Always remember that whatever we want from life, it all starts by taking that very important first step! ❤️

Life will knock us all down every so often, you have the choice to quit and stay down or get up and win, it’s your choice!

It may not be easy getting back up again when life beats you down and you may never be the same person you were again after getting knocked down but you’ll become stronger, wiser, more resilient and grow as an individual if you always choose to get back up again and fight on no matter hard it is to do so! 👊❤️🥊

Be a children’s champion, not just for your own children but for all children!

Help guide them through their childhood so they not only have a happy childhood but also learn the tools and skills to set them up for a successful life!

Love and nurture them so that they learn how to show love to others and experience loving and happy emotions!

Be their safe place so that they can always come to you when things get tough for them or they’re ever in any danger!

Teach them how to stand up for themselves and protect themselves both physically and emotionally!

Give them everything they need for a happy, loving childhood and to set them up for a successful life ahead of them!

Teach them right from wrong so they don’t get into trouble when they’re older and teach them respect so they have doors of opportunity opened for them in adulthood instead of doors slammed in their faces!

Make them laugh, laughter is one of the best medicines for dealing with so many emotions!

Let them explore and experiment, even if they get dirty, after all a dirty child is often a happy child!

We all only get one childhood, so be a champion of children and do all you can to give as many children as possible the very best start in life and set them up to go on to achieve their goals in life, not only will they be grateful to you when they’re older but they’ll also go on to be champions of children from the future generations! ❤️

I think this saying is something we could all do to remember!

So many people let their problems affect their children, if we don't shield our children from our storms then they end up inheriting our problems and trauma's, we need to do all we can to break the cycle!

We all have tough times at some point or another in life and it's not always easy to deal with but we must always do what we can to protect our children from being affected by them!

It's our job as parents to protect our children at all costs and if that means we get cold and wet as we hold an umbrella over our children then so be it! ☔️❤️☂️

Promises mean nothing unless we stick to those promises and fulfill them, that includes the promises we make to ourselves!

When we set ourselves goals and promises we need to put plans into place to achieve them and put the effort in to make them happen!

When we put the effort in it doesn’t matter if we fail because fail stands for First Attempt In Learning, if we learn from our failures and then put those lessons into practice and try other ways to keep going until we succeed then we will eventually succeed!

No matter how many times we fail on our journey, if we keep putting in our best effort we will eventually get where we want to be and achieve our goals and fulfill the promises we’ve made to ourselves!

Every success story is littered with failures but it’s those failures that build the road to success and it was the effort to keep moving forward and never give up that cemented it all together! ❤️

Non of us can avoid reality, if we ignore things that we shouldn’t be ignoring, blame things on everyone else or keep turning a blind eye to things that are going on in our lives that shouldn’t be them before long reality is going to hit us hard and when it does the impact will be a whole lot harder in our lives!

The longer we keep putting things off the harder they are to deal with when they can’t be put off any longer, the reality of every situation will always catch up with us sooner or later!

It’s like the old saying “you can run but you can’t hide,” nobody can out run reality so although it may seem scary at times, we are always better to embrace the reality of every situation and deal with it before things get much worse! ❤️

Everyone has a past because if they didn’t have a past they wouldn’t be here now!

Never look back with regret, even if you have had a colourful past and did bad things or things you regret, the past is where it belongs, in the past and you can’t go back and change it!

What you can do however is look back at the lessons learnt from your past and put those lessons into practice for a better now and a more successful future, we can also remember the good times, our memories of loved ones no longer with us or the funny times when we’re down to pick us up!

The past is an amazing tool to use to pick us up when we’re down and to also show us how far we have come, when things are so tough we can’t see a way through it or think we can’t go on, look back at everything you’ve got through in the past that you never thought you would at the time to give you the motivation to keep going and the strength to know you can get through it!

Every new day is a chance to start afresh and begin a new beginning but we can only truly do that if we use the skills and tools we’ve learnt from our past!

Everyone has experienced good and bad in their past, some better experiences than others and some worse experiences than others but it’s what we do with the lessons that those experiences taught use that count so we don’t keep repeating the same mistakes in our lives and break the cycle!

Also, never judge others because of their past, you may be judging a person that no longer exists and hurting somebody who is a completey different person because they learnt from their mistakes and the bad things they’ve done, some of the people with the darkest pasts go on to become some of nicest people who help so many others and have the brightest futures!

Everyone has the opportunity of having a great future, but that can only happen if we put the lessons that our pasts have taught us into practice today, that is how we grow!

Today and everyday is a new beginning, so as Oasis sang, “don’t look back in anger” and make every new day count! ❤️

So many people feel rejected when something doesn’t go their way but sometimes we have to to accept that some things aren’t meant to be!

Some people try to force things when those things aren’t right but they choose not to to see that it isn’t right for them and continue to bang on that sealed door!

Others take it personal when some doors don’t open for them and take that rejection to heart, it could be anything from relationships to work issues or any other door that won’t open for them!

When a door won’t open for us we should embrace it and not feel rejected by it, that door is closed for a reason and even though that reason may not be obvious at the time it will lead us to where we’re meant to be if we move on and keep trying other doors!

For all you know the door you’re feeling rejected over now because it won’t open for you could lead to the basement but if you keep moving forward and keep trying new doors as you go then the door that eventually does open could take you straight to the penthouse!

Don’t worry about the doors that don’t open for you, they’re not yours to open, keep trying new doors and embrace the ones that let you in! ❤️
