Symptoms of vulval cancer can include:

Changes in skin colour

Persistent itching or soreness

Lumps or swelling

Unusual bleeding

We know these symptoms can feel difficult to talk about, but your health is too important to ignore. If you notice any changes, please speak to your GP. Early diagnosis saves lives.

It’s important to be aware of the common signs and symptoms of childhood cancer. These may include:

- Headaches that don’t go away

- Unexplained sickness

- Constant tiredness

- Persistent pain

If you notice any of these symptoms in your child, please contact your GP without delay. Early diagnosis can make all the difference.

NEW – 4-Week Programme for Men After Cancer Treatment

We’re launching a new programme for male patients who have completed cancer treatment and are within 5 years of diagnosis.

Over 4 weeks, we’ll cover topics to support recovery and wellbeing, including:

- Safe return to strength exercise and nutrition after treatment

- Managing fatigue and improving sleep

- Relationships and intimacy

- Understanding trauma and mental health after a cancer diagnosis

📍 Where: Hebburn Central
📅 Starts: September 2025

Referrals are now open via the cancer information and support service team

The UK’s new emergency alert system will send a loud siren, message, and vibration to every compatible phone even on silent. Survivors of abuse with hidden phones could be put at risk if the device is discovered.
