A later start in the salon today. So it’s off for some quiet me time. A coffee, magazine a little fresh air what could be nicer. Well a little sunshine would be nice. Bit of a pea souper at the coast.
Lovely 30 mins or so just sitting and reading rather than scrolling. Feeling quite chilled ready for the day ahead in the salon.
Why not do something different for yourself today- even if it is just for 5 mins.
If you feel you need a little more me time why not book yourself a treatment to relax and improve your wellbeing at the same time.
When we are relaxed we can function a little better.

The start of the final third of the year - this year is just going so fast.
Work wise I’ll be in the salon in September with perhaps a new treatment. So keep watching! It’s also World Reflexology Week starting the 22nd so watch this space for some opportunities to try reflexology if you don’t already.
Personally, I am hoping the temperature drops slightly so I can get back to my chocolate making and I am hoping to get out and about and make the most the lovely weather before autumn fully steps in.

I hope you all had a lovely bank holiday. We had a quiet weekend - time at the sea front, a little light lunch in the country and some quiet time. I enjoyed the time off to relax, but I am looking forward to being back in the salon tomorrow

It’s the last bank holiday of the year before Christmas. I can’t believe how quickly this year is going.
I don’t have anything planned for the weekend, but hopefully it will be cool enough to catch up on a little bit of chocolate making and sometime to unwind.

Staying hydrated doesn’t have to be hard!
Here are 5 easy ways to drink more water everyday:
1. carry a reusable water bottle
2. Set reminders on your phone to have a drink
3. Add fruit or diluted squash to your water for flavour
4. Eat water-rich foods (cucumber/water melon, soup, jelly and ice-cream)
5. Drink a glass of water before every meal.

There could be other factors apart from the heat so please check out the NHS website for detailed advice on dehydration.
