At St Anne's, our Christmas party was full of festive cheer, with carol singing, dancing and plenty of party food to enjoy. We also shared a lovely group discussion, chatting about our favourite Christmas memories and the moments that mean the most to us.

Ken enjoyed a refreshing walk to Cullercoats, finishing with a cosy coffee in the pub, while back at St Anne’s we stayed active with sit and keep fit before winding down with a relaxed art evening together.

We've had lots of festive fun at Springfield Lodge!

We got into the Christmas spirit with bauble decorating and some very festive snowman biscuits, then enjoyed a wonderful show from Clare and her puppets, which brought plenty of smiles and laughter.

Christmas Eve was marked with a lovely party, and we carried the celebrations through to New Year’s Eve with tasty snacks, a glass of bubbly and music as we welcomed in the new year together 🥂🎶

In between all the festivities, residents kept active with chair basketball and took time to chat about their New Year’s resolutions, sharing hopes and goals for the year ahead.

We've had lots of festivities and community projects at Westoe Grange during the Christmas period. 🎄

Thank you to John Casey (of Toy Dolls fame) for his visit. It was a lot of fun to sing some of our favourite songs. 🎶

Angela and our service users created Christmas gnomes to raise funds for our residents' fund.

The Christmas hamper winning ticket was 391-395 . The lucky winner was Heather Taylor. Very well done! We raised an amazing £355 for our residents' fund! Thank you to everyone who bought a raffle ticket.

We also delivered our donations to Sunderland Hospital Children's Ward and Action Station South Tyneside Food Bank. Thank you to staff, service users and families for their donations. Westoe Grange is proudly continuing to make a difference in our community. 💚

Staff received a gift voucher in memory of the late Etta Gardner and Noah Woods. Their families generously donated to the staff for their care and support. Thank you. 💚

We've been very busy at The Gardens over the festive period. 🎄

We had a Christmas nativity, sing-alongs, and Christmas lunch to celebrate the season.

We also did cocktail making for New Year’s Eve, decorating Memory boxes for the New Year, and on New Year’s Day, we had lunch and played pass the parcel. 🎁

At Princess House, we have been busy celebrating Christmas and the New Year! 🎄

We enjoyed our Christmas party, featuring entertainment from the brilliant Tony and Sarah, as well as a very special visit from Santa. 🎅

We did a Christmas photoshoot and have enjoyed the festivities of the season!

We've been doing lots of crafts together, baking cupcakes, and decorating gingerbread houses! 🏠

We've had lots of Christmas and New Year's fun at Langley House. 🎆

Our residents' choir put on a performance for families, friends, and staff. It was lots of fun for everyone involved and well worth the hard work they put in practising.

We were visited by Mr & Mrs Claus, enjoyed some festive films, and had a wonderful Christmas party with The Jukebox Boy, who was fantastic.

On Boxing Day, we hosted karaoke in the lounge and played some games together.

⭐ A massive well done to care assistant Tamara Somerville for being Langley House's employee of the year for all of her hard work and support during 2025.

We shared a toast to the new year and enjoyed the festivities!

We'd also like to extend a huge thank you to The Bradley Lowery Foundation for the gifts donated to our service users this Christmas 💚

Horden Nursery sang us some lovely songs, and then we had a surprise appearance from the Grinch, who got some of our staff with a cream pie! 😁
