Marsden Road Community Centre will be hosting a Day trip to

Alnwick

Tuesday 14th April 2026

Join us for a day trip to the historic market town Alnwick which is situated in the heart of Northumberland. There's so much to see and do in Alnwick from Alnwick Castle/ Gardens/ Lilidori shopping and so much more.

Lilidorei
Lilidorei is a magical, mysterious village full of play and home to 9 clans who worship Christmas. They are ruled by Lord Elfwin, King of Lilidorei who lives in Elfwin Drin, the biggest play structure in the world. When children visit Lilidorei, they can create their own narratives, visit the clan houses, and join in with stories with our Story Keepers.

Alnwick Gardens
Created by the Duchess of Northumberland, The Alnwick Garden is a delight; a modern garden combining sculpture, water features, and beautiful plants to create a wonderful family attraction. The Garden features the largest collection of European plants in the UK and the largest Japanese Cherry Orchard in the World.

The coach will be leaving Marsden Road Community Centre, NE34 6RE at 9.00am and will arrive back at the Centre approx. 4.30pm
Please arrive no later that 8:45am for a prompt 9:00 departure.
