Oak House care home Our dedicated team provides high-quality residential, dementia and nursing care.

Set in a peaceful residential area of Slough, Oak House is a modern, purpose-built care home that provides personalised nursing, residential and dementia care for older people on a permanent and respite basis. Oak House is organised into eight suites, each having its own dining room and stylish lounge area. The home also has spacious bedrooms a cinema room and a hair salon with two visiting hair stylists. With over an acre of grounds, including secure, landscaped gardens and courtyards, in warmer weather residents and visitors can enjoy spending time in the sunshine. The friendly team enjoys building good relationships with residents' loved ones, as they share the same goal of making sure residents are happy, comfortable and settled.

Yesterday we had the absolute pleasure of welcoming Berkshire Birds of Prey into oak house. We were so excited to see the owls flying in the coffee shop and enjoying a little cuddle. They definitely did not disappoint!! We can’t wait to welcome you back again soon. 🦉🩷

We had a very busy weekend at Oak House!

On Saturday we had a splendid open day. We had an incredible performance from Elenor, and lost of delicious food.
On Sunday, Burns night, we started the day by baking some traditional shortbread. Then in the afternoon we had a delicious, traditional spread of Scottish food.

We had a lovely morning with some visitors from the Christ embassy and the Muslim girls group. We enjoyed traditional food from each religion and enjoyed learning more about the different religions.

Christmas week has been a busy, but fun week! We started off the week with a fun game of bingo with Christmassy prizes that were won and loved by all!

The ladies have been getting in their last minute pampering before the big day!

A festive coffee morning has everyone singing Christmas carols and enjoying mince pies.

Of course we had a visit from Elfie, the friendly Oak House elf, who delivered presents to all of the residents.

On Christmas Day we cracked open the wine and enjoyed our delicious Christmas dinner, we loved every minute.

To end the week, Boxing Day! We’ve had a day full of fun and festive games. Residents were able to win luxury items in the guessing games.

Merry Christmas to you all, and happy new year!! 🥳❤️
