The New Year doesn’t have to be about pressure, resolutions or becoming someone new.
Sometimes it’s simply about coming back to yourself — moving your body, calming your mind and supporting your nervous system.

I’m really excited to be launching a brand-new Vinyasa Flow yoga class at Galanos House, Southam starting Tuesday 7th January at 6pm.

This class is open to everyone — whether you’re completely new to yoga, returning after a break, or looking for a supportive, feel-good flow to end your day.

• A welcoming, non-judgemental space
• Breath-led Vinyasa flow

Today marks the Winter Solstice, the shortest day and longest night of the year — a powerful turning point in both nature and ourselves.

In yogic and Ayurvedic traditions, this time is not about pushing forward, but about rest, reflection and renewal. The darkness invites us inward, offering space to pause, release what no longer serves us, and gently plant seeds for what’s to come.

✨ What the Winter Solstice represents:
• A moment of stillness before growth
• Honouring rest and deep nourishment
• Letting go of the old year’s weight
• Welcoming the gradual return of light

🌿 How to honour the solstice today:

Friday evening is the perfect time to release tension, soften the breath and let go of what you no longer need.

Vinyasa yoga supports both physical strength and emotional wellbeing, helping you move out of stress and back into your body. Combined with breathwork and grounding, it’s a powerful way to reset after a long week.
