Last day in Amsterdam 🇳🇱

It’s been a great few days of slowing down, exploring, and stepping out of the usual routine.

Now it’s time to head home… and back to normal classes from tomorrow.

There’s always something nice about returning with a bit more energy, a clearer head, and a fresh perspective.

Not only was the course itself incredibly insightful, but one of the best parts of yoga is always the people you meet along the way.

Supportive, open, and genuinely lovely, there’s something special about the yoga community that’s hard to describe until you experience it.

That’s not rest — that’s avoidance.

Real rest is quieter.
Slower.
Sometimes a bit uncomfortable at first.

Tonight is the full moon 🌕

In traditional yoga (especially Ashtanga), full moon days are often observed as a time to pause physical practice.

The energy is said to be high, unsettled, and outward-moving — not always the best space for strong physical effort.

Instead, it’s a time for:
✨ Reflection
✨ Stillness
✨ Slowing down

Yoga isn’t just about movement.
It’s about knowing when not to move.

I’m taking a step back from teaching this week.

Not because I have to… but because it feels like the right thing to do.

In yoga, we often talk about Ahimsa — non-harming.
And sometimes that means not pushing through, not doing more, not ignoring what your body or mind needs.

Rest isn’t falling behind.
It’s part of the practice.

✨ Sometimes the most yogic thing you can do… is pause.
