Today we shed a little tear as we say goodbye to our wonderful Bobbi 🫶✨.

Bobbi started with us as a newly qualified nurse after having her final student placement here. It has been an absolute pleasure to watch her learn, excel and flourish into a truly fantastic nurse. She seamlessly slotted into our team from day one and has been an asset to the G2N family.

Bobbi is moving on to new challenges and we know she will absolutely smash it 💪. Our loss is their gain and her new team are VERY lucky to have her.

Don't forget us Bobs, we wish you the best of luck 💖🫶🧠

We had a lovely visit from Vikki yesterday who works at Aviva, who have donated a wonderful large collection of toys, crafts and books for our children. This photo is just a small selection of the gifts. Thank you very much Vikki and everyone at Aviva these gifts will make a hugh difference to the children in hospital over Christmas.

Last week team Neuro got all dressed up for our Christmas party 🎉🍾🎄💃. It was fantastic to spend the night laughing & celebrating together and reflecting on another year of hard work 💪🧠. Thank you so much to our colleagues who kept the ward safe to allow the majority of us to have a night letting our hair down 🫶✨

A very big thank you to Liam's family who visited as the week with some wonderful gifts for our families and staff. ❤️
Liam's family never fails to visit us, whether it's Christmas, Easter or Halloween. We are so grateful that even years after his stay with us, they still remember us and the children here having a hard time. What a fantastic bunch! 🥹🥰🧠✨

We have had some more really wonderful kind donations this week, one of those being from Miss Phoebe Peebee, Juliet and Mark.

6 hand crafted gift boxes filled with coffee or tea, snazzy socks, chocolates and more, specifically for our wonderful Dads to enjoy on Christmas day.

Always, as ever, so lovely to give our Phoebs a snuggle. Thank you so, so much 🌟🫶♥️🧠😘

✨🧠🫶 We are the luckiest ward ever! We feel the love from our brainy bunch all year round, but at Christmas you guys really out-do yourselves 🎄❄️🎁. We have had lots of visits over the last couple of days from previous patients and their families looking to spread the festive cheer. From driving to us at 7am (to beat the traffic!) to running London to Brighton to raise money, we are constantly awed by the kindness and dedication people show to our ward. Thank you so so much for the selection boxes, toys, games, books, HAND KNITTED (!!) teddies, goodie bags and snacks for the nurses ❤️❤️ We are so grateful, you guys are the best ✨🧠🫶.

Please help us celebrate Sophie's 14th Birthday on Tuesday 12th August 💛

We will be at two locations:
🐧Whiteley Shopping Centre, 10am - 2pm.Come along and see us in our bright yellow gazebo! We will have games and sweets for sale. We are asking if people would consider donating a snack box item at the gazebo as a way of honoring Sophie's wishes for parents to be fed 🌈

🐧Asda Havant, 10am - 2pm. We are holding a supermarket day, collecting snack box items to feed families in hospital. Please come along to say hello and pop a snack box item in our trolley 🌈

We’d love it if you could do a random act of kindness in memory of Sophie 💛
Even in her last few weeks, Sophie was always thinking of others and how she could leave something good behind. We think this is a lovely way to carry on that spirit.

So whether it’s buying someone a coffee, checking in on a friend, or doing something kind for a stranger—whatever it is, do it with Sophie in mind.
