We were delighted to host a truly memorable day at Oaklands to celebrate our rebranding and our official transition into the Care UK family.
This significant milestone marks an exciting new chapter for our home, reinforcing our commitment to delivering the highest standards of care and enhancing the experience of our residents and their loved ones.
Relatives, friends, and residents received a personalised invitation, ensuring they felt at the heart of this special occasion.
The afternoon commenced with a celebratory toast, accompanied by a warm and inspiring speech from our Home Manager, Byron, who reflected on our journey so far and the opportunities that lie ahead as part of Care UK.
Guests were then treated to an exquisite selection of canapés and sweet delicacies, thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented by our talented chefs.
Two exceptional cakes were generously created by one of our extended family members, Sally Doulton. We extend our sincere thanks to Sally for her stunning contributions, which were greatly admired by all.
The celebrations continued with a lively hour of music performed by the talented Megan Blower from Mack Entertainment, whose engaging performance brought joy to the room, with residents and guests alike singing, clapping, and dancing along.
To conclude the day’s festivities, everyone gathered in the dining room to enjoy a carefully prepared buffet, providing a wonderful opportunity for residents, relatives, and team members to come together, reflect, and celebrate this important new beginning.
