The current waiting time for non life or limb threatening conditions is up to 12 hours to be seen.

♦️ Use Urgent Treatment Centres at Royal South Hants Hospital or Lymington New Forest Hospital for urgent but non-life-threatening care.
♦️ Call NHS 111 or visit online if you need urgent medical help.
♦️ Consider your community pharmacy for a range of advice and treatments.

Happy New Year everyone ✨

2025 was a good year at DMK Care & Support, we learned a lot, grew a lot, and drank just enough coffee to survive it all. ☕😅
Thanks to our amazing team, friends and families, we appreciate you more than sleep-ins and snack breaks combined 🤍
Here’s to using what we learned in 2025, in 2026… hopefully with fewer technical difficulties and more laughter. 😂

At DMK Care & Support, we support young people with acquired/traumatic brain injury, physical disabilities and complex health needs.
One of the biggest challenges we face, and regularly hear from families and young people, is how difficult it is to find social and leisure opportunities that are age-appropriate, inclusive and feel “normal”.

As a care provider, our role is to ensure care needs, safety and wellbeing are met, but we also recognise that social connection, enjoyment and belonging are needs too, not luxuries.

As a company, we often struggle to source activities that go beyond conferences, services or specialist provision, and instead offer real-life experiences such as:
🎶 live music & gigs
🎤 social events
🎨 creative and fun activities
🌍 being part of the community alongside peers

Having identified this gap, we want to do more than acknowledge it — we want to help change accessibility.
Across Hampshire, Dorset & Sussex, we’d really value your thoughts:
• Is this something our young people need more of?
• Do you feel there’s a gap in what’s currently available?
• Would you be interested in helping to shape, support or create something like this?
This is very much at the listening and ideas stage, and we want to build something with people, not for them.
