Here are our top tips for world sleep day:

- Let your mind rest: Limit/avoid screens (phones, laptops, etc) 60 minutes before bed, as blue light inhibits melatonin.
- Get adjusted: Supports the natural release of melatonin (it’s like the body’s natural clock right)
- Avoid heavy meals late at night
- Avoid caffeine and/or stimulants late at night
- Try and maintain a schedule to train your body clock

Why it is important
- Physical Health: Sleep lowers blood pressure, reduces inflammation, and helps prevent conditions like heart disease, stroke, and diabetes.
- Weight Management: Poor sleep alters hunger hormones, making you eat more, and leaves you with less energy for exercise.
- Mental Performance: Good sleep boosts memory, focus, and cognitive function, whereas poor sleep increases stress.
- Immune System Strength: Consistent, quality sleep improves your body's ability to fight off illness.

Kiele-Ann’s story is a powerful reminder of how important it is to feel heard.

After years of struggling with persistent pain that impacted her ability to train, run, and even her mental wellbeing, she came to us not expecting much. What made the biggest difference at the start? Being listened to, thoroughly assessed, and having her concerns taken seriously.

Over the past few weeks, she’s shared that she’s noticed meaningful improvements in her movement and overall comfort. As with any care journey, progress is individual and ongoing. It’s a marathon, not a sprint! We continue to review and adapt her plan along the way.

We’re especially proud that she felt supported not just clinically, but personally too. Clear explanations and genuine interactions matter.

📱 0° = about 5kg (roughly the weight of your head)
📱 30° = around 18kg
📱 50–60° = around 25kg
