We’re bursting with pride for our amazing member Derry, who’s not only reached her target weight of 3st 10lb, but was also crowned Woman of the Year for our Botley group! 👑💪

Derry’s journey has been powered by her love of Food Optimising, making smart swaps that keep her meals delicious and satisfying. 🍽️ She’s also a big fan of long walks with her dog, turning everyday activity into a joyful part of her routine. 🐾🌿

But the biggest win? The incredible health benefits she’s seen—especially with her diabetes, which has improved dramatically since she started her journey. ❤️

We had a fab morning in group on Tuesday, I asked my members if they'd like to set a goal for the following week. One of my members said he was going for 7lb, well he came in yesterday & he smashed it with 7.5lb. The atmosphere in group was brilliant, congratulating him on a job well done. With this amazing loss, he received these amazing awards yesterday. He's only been with us for 5 weeks. Huge Congratulations & Well Done Matt 👏 🥳

Wow fantastic media coverage regarding Slimming World’s take on weight loss injections ❤️ it makes for brilliant reading!
If you picked up a copy of the Sunday Mirror, Sunday Express or Sunday People yesterday, you would have spotted a very powerful article based on an interview with our Slimming World Managing Director Lisa Salmon.
She was speaking in the wake of the news about WeightWatchers' financial troubles, the current spotlight on the weight loss injections and Slimming World’s stance on these.
Lisa also stresses the importance of group support which is what Slimming World do best each and every week in our wonderful groups.
