Connecting with nature is so important for our well-being.
Studies show that spending time outdoors can reduce stress, anxiety, and depression.

It fosters a sense of connection and although nature is happening all around us, sometimes we miss it.

Nature has a calming effect, lowering cortisol levels (the stress hormone) and promoting relaxation.
Studies suggest that spending time in nature can be an effective tool in managing depression.

As you can see from these pic, natural environments evoke positive emotions like joy and overall happiness.
So good to see!

Celebrating birthdays is important.
They mark milestones, and allow us to express grattitide for life.

It's a chance to reflect on the past year, appreciate loved ones, and look forward to the future with optimism.

We love marking the occasion here and love to make a fuss if we can!

You may have seen that we've had students in red t-shirts for the last academic year, and if you were at the garden fete you would have heard me sending them our best wishes and good luck, as they leave Ancasta Grove and go on to their next year of studies Itchen Sixth Form College in health and social care.

It's been a pleasure to work with you!

Thank you to The Hamble School for inviting us to watch your performance of Matilda.
It was absolutely amazing the children were phenomenal.

Well done to all the organising that went into that and thank you for all the communications that we had with you to facilitate this day.

Our ladies had a thoroughly enjoyable time and we can't wait to do it again.

Spending time in nature is so beneficial for both physical and mental well-being.
It can reduce stress, improve mood, and even help with conditions like anxiety and depression.

Getting outdoors can increase oxygen flow to the brain, leading to improved focus and energy.

We are so lucky to have so much nature on our doorstep and we get out as much as we can.
There onna be some pretty healthy ducks in this pond.
