Good afternoon,
What a topic this is!
Supporting women through this change is so important.... some clients may not realise this is what they are going through.
After 7 years of supporting women, doing Menopause courses, workshops and having navigated it myself, I've built up some experience.
Approx 50% of the population will be going through peri-menopause/menopause ....but unfortunately we still are geared up to support this.
Changes happen that you totally dont expect....
- some women sail through it, noticing very little changes
- some women notice some changes and it is enough to disrupt their normal life
- some women suffer very badly and need major support.
It's imperative that you get support ...talk to friends, family, your mum if you can. Talk to a therapist.
Speak to your GP, & you may need to be assertive so you feel listened to & supported. You can trial HRT even off symptoms alone. Some GPs will recommend a blood test just to check everything first.
You are not alone. Reach out to me if you have any questions & to see how I can help β€οΈ
