This winning little doll is named Carol Christening because she originally wore a Christening gown. Here she is after a spa day with a new eye and a new frock.

Linda is a large plastic baby doll made in Hong Kong during the 1960s. She actually arrived with her head detached, and no arms! Her cracked head had a previous repair with superglue which I couldn't do much about, but I sorted the other damage to her face and gave her new arms as well as a spa day and some clothes.

Here is Wendy - she's a lovely composition baby from around 1950 and a big girl at 26". She has new eyelashes, her chips and scuffs have been patched up, and she's been restrung with fresh elastic. She will be a present for a very lucky great-niece this Christmas.

This is Pamela, a sweet 1960s Palitoy doll who went home today with a new hairdo, new eyes, and her head firmly reattached.

Poor Annabel was very grubby with broken eyes, multicoloured lips, and most of her hair missing. Here she is fixed up with a new frock sewn by Chrissie. Chrissie was also kind enough to share this photo of her and Annabel in the 1960s.
