CT Osteopathy

CT Osteopathy CT Osteopathy is a well established treatment and therapy business specialises in Osteopathy, Sports Advice can also be given on self-help treatments.

Osteopathy is an established, well recognised system of diagnosis and treatment whose main emphasis lies on the structural integrity of the body. It is distinctive in that it recognises that much of the pain and disability we suffer from stems from poor function of the body’s structure, as well as the damage caused by disease and trauma. Osteopathy's main strength lies in the unique way a patient

is assessed from a mechanical, functional and postural standpoint. The manual methods applied are tailored to the needs of each individual patient. Osteopaths use gentle stretching and mobilization techniques as well as manipulating joints, in order to create the perfect conditions to facilitate the healing process. Treatment usually consists of a combination of soft-tissue releasing techniques, and some specific adjustments affecting joints and soft-tissues (muscles, tendons and ligaments). Osteopathy is regulated by the General Osteopathic Council (GOsC) which is a statutory self regulated body. It is illegal to practise as an osteopath unless registered by the GOsC. This protects the public by ensuring adequate training of osteopaths and ongoing learning (continual professional development or CPD is mandatory) is taking place to ensure knowledge is kept up to date.

Hey.

I’M ‘BACK!’

So after an amazing trip and a fabulous break I am back in clinic. The time away was just what I needed mentally and physically and so as was once said:

“You can't do a good job if your job is all you do." - Katie Thurmes

It’s time to get ‘back’ to it!

Any problems, issues, niggles or injuries please get in touch. The weather is going to get good next week and you don’t want any pain or discomfort ruining your ability to take advantage of this.

Give me a message or an email if need any help.

Do you have pain in your spine? Is it constant or is it on and off depending on what you’ve been doing?

Have you thought about what might actually be the cause?

As Osteopaths we endeavour to assess the patient fully as a ‘whole body approach’ to investigate fully what is going on. In reality pain is objective and subjective but ultimately are you treating g the symptom or the cause.

If you’ve been struggling, or have been having treatment with no successful outcome maybe it’s time for a second opinion.

If you’ve have any questions please reach out www.ctosteopathy.com or ctosteopathy@googlemail.com or call us on 07843 010011.

It’s time to get it sorted.

Hey All.

Tis the season 🎄 and all that.

Just to let you all know that appointments made in week commencing 16th December will have a 48 hour cancellation policy attached to them.

This is because the normal 24hour policy may not be enough to get everyone that needs an appointment booked in and the week is already almost fully booked.

This year I will be finishing on Thursday 19th December so if you need an appointment do t wait and think about it, get it booked. Once I’m out this year I won’t be coming back in until Monday 6th January.

So the only thing left to say is ‘Merry Christmas’.

I hope 2025 brings you all health, wealth and hopefully no neck or back pain or any Xmas related injuries.

Cheers 🥂🎄
